Wonderful Wednesday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Mr. Bean - Checking In
How to Make Scrambled Egg Muffins
Underneath the Arches - The Andrews Sisters 1948
Southwest Airlines - The Making of Florida One
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see another view. Schools are producing test takers, while life needs thinkers and innovators. - Bette Fetter
You need to learn how to select your thoughts just the same way you select your clothes every day. This is a power you can cultivate. If you want to control things in your life so bad, work on the mind. That's the only thing you should be trying to control. - Elizabeth Gilbert
You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated. In fact, it may be necessary to encounter the defeats, so you can know who you are, what you can rise from and how you can still come out of it. - Maya Angelou
Are you hungry...or thirsty? Studies have shown that 37% of people mistake hunger for thirst, because the signals are similar. (i.e. feeling weak, dizzy, cranky) So, next time you think you're hungry, drink water. There's a good chance your cravings for food will pass. Plus, drinking water fills you up and boosts your body's ability to burn fat.
The four agreements...1. Be impeccable with your word. 2. Don't take anything personally. 3. Don't make assumptions. 4. Always do your best. - Miguel Ruiz
Grass fed cows...grass-fed beef. Low saturated fat levels, high in "good fat" omega-3's, high doses of conjugated linoleic acid, thought by many to be a cancer fighter. Reduced exposure to E.coli bacteria, features an agricultural process that is ecologically friendly.
I agree 100% with that Bette Fetter quotation. Sad, really very sad the way education is heading especially around Asian countries. Excellent test scores, that is all everyone cares about.
La couleur verte tremble entre les mains de l’automne La mort maquille les feuilles pour leurs noces avec le givre Un silence très ancien se loge dans la lumière qui se tait et le Temps jette les heures insouciantes dans un feu sans mémoire
Hello Linda!:) Thank you for the amusing Mr Bean clip, and the Jamie Oliver recipe's. All the different ways to make scambled eggs look delicious. After seeing the vídeo I feel like making the English version tonight.:))
You've got a bunch of real winners today, Linda. The Heimlich Maneuver, the Andrew Sisters (one of my favorite groups as a young person), Mr. Bean, of course, is unbeatable. I've never heard of scrambled egg muffins but they look good. Most important to me are the Karen Salmansohn quotes! Merci beaucoup !
Good morning, dear Linda! I enjoyed your latest episode of the quirky, grumpy, miserly Mr. Bean. That Andrews Sisters recording brings back memories of earliest childhood. My parents collected their records and I often played them down in the basement on my tiny tinny turntable. It's amazing how much goes into making an aircraft. It's no wonder the cost of plane travel is so high.
Quite the tunes on that Southwest Florida One video! and fascinating. Living so close to Boeing I have always wondered what goes on in those massive hangars, and now I kinda know! Thanks Linda :) Always such wonderful surprises!
Hee... hee! I'm currently traveling - maybe I should try the Mr. Bean check-in at our next hotel tonight. ;-) You are spoiling me with these Mr. Bean giggles. :-)
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. I like the example-opinion one
