Tuesday Chuckles
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Hilarious Southwest Airline Safety Presentation
Mr. Bean Prepares for his Exam
Octopus Facts - Nocturnal Hunter
Filou, a Film by Le Chateau of Montreal (TV ad...yes, it is filmed here in Montreal) This is a new ad that just came out in the last month. :) For those of you who may not know what Le Chateau is...it is a clothing boutique. :) Filou, the little dog who is the star of the TV ad, is a Jack Russell Terrier. It is a short, 30 second ad and I hope you will all enjoy it. :) I think they did a pretty good job on this ad!
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Don't give up. Not yet. There is a whole life ahead of you.
Today is a good day to stop harming yourself with thoughts about the past. Rename "negative" thinking as "nag-ative" thinking. Stop nagging yourself about how things should have been. Let it go. Your mis-steps from the past don't lead you to your future. It's the steps you take now that take you there.
"Loving words are just a bunch of pretty verbal decorations if they're not backed up by loving actions." - This calls out to me today, Linda. Very true! Thank you for sharing! :D
Yes, I've seen a few of those airline safety presentations - some of them were really good, so very funny and so entertaining. Definitely a welcome change from the usual read-off-the-script ones on most airlines.
Air New Zealand produces very nice safety videos every year - they play them on their flights.
That Mr. Bean video is one of the best! :D "Don't give up. Not yet. There is a whole life ahead of you." Thanks for your blog update, and beautiful Tuesday for you!
Another great collection of good quotes and all these lovely quotes describe you, my darling friend. I was laughing at first video, people didn't smell anything, why they changed their facial expressions ?? :))
Good morning, dear Linda! Three months after the 9-11 terror attacks, I took a plane flight and observed a flight attendant sobbing. It was disconcerting. I don't know if I would like it any better if a flight attendant turned the safety presentation into a stand-up comedy routine. The segment of Mr. Bean reminds me of all those important exams I took in school and how much I dreaded them. The octopus is one of my favorite animals. It is amazing how complex a creature it is. I have dined on octopus meat in restaurants. I predict that the ad campaign starring Filou the Jack Russell Terrier will be a hit.
That Southwest Airlines spiel is hilarious...but how does that flight attendant talk that fast?! I had to read the words to understand what she was saying. I guess I don't listen as fast as she talks.
Great videos I have a son-in-law who works for Southwest airline in Portland, Oregon so I got a good laugh out of that video also the one of Mr. Bean. Great quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
Hilarious Southwest Airline Safety Presentation. I couldn't stop from laughing. I hope that when I get my flight to Miami, that stewardess acts just like this one. It would make me feel so at ease. Thank you Linda. Have a cool, but wonderful Tuesday. See ya.
That's why I LOVE Southwest! They always keep people laughing. I've been on some flights where it's all just standard, but they can be especially fun on some of those flights. The flight attendants on my flight to Vegas were super awesome!
Very funny Safety instruction...but oho boy, she speaks so fast! Very entertaining! I have to show this to my husband. I love the quote - May there be blessing behind every door you enter! Nice!
My beautiful Linda, I've enjoyed Mr. Bean's video so much ( Hubby and I laughed like two children ! ) and about the quotes, the one by John Ruskin .... well, I've written it on my notebook for not to forget it .... I love you !!! Sending hugs Dany
