I don't know if any of you have seen the movie "Disappearance" (2002), starring Susan Dey and Harry Hamlin, but I just saw it last night and wanted to say that I really enjoyed it! I like suspense/thriller movies and I must say that if you like movies with a different twist and that keep you on the edge of your seat, this is a great movie! It is a little strange, but I found it quite good. Short and sweet review. LOL! :)
I have added a new blog archive link, which is in the form of a drop-down menu, for those of you who may be interested in seeing my older posts. You can find this on the right column of my blog, just scroll down. This blog archive will take you right back to when I first began my blog, in February 2012. Thank you all so much for your visits and comments, I appreciate every single one! And thanks so much to my dear friend Louise, who asked me about a blog archive!
The videos I have chosen for this post are:
A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
X-Ray Mega Airport - Drug Sniffing Dog
All Six Reitmans Commercials (even though there are six commercial ads on this video it is only 3 minutes long). Reitmans is a lady's boutique in Canada and I think this series of ads are pretty funny. Enjoy! :)
Goats Crossing Road in Greece
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
Follow the rhythm of your heart. Your heart takes you to the destination, where your goodness dwells.
Good morning, dear Linda!
ReplyDeleteThank you for giving us a look at a drug sniffing dog at work in an airport. Their keen sense of smell never ceases to amaze me. I watched all six of the Reitmans clothiers adverts and agree that it is a clever and very catchy campaign. I laughed out loud when the dog in the park jumped up and grabbed the woman's hat thinking it was a large Frisbee. I enjoyed the sight and sound as the goats crossed the rural road in Greece.
Thank you very much, dear friend Linda!
sounds like a good movie.
ReplyDeleteLove the little witch one.
ReplyDeleteMerci pour ce joli post ce vendredi

I love thriller - movies
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quotes. It is so true that when people who are not happy with themselves can't possibly be happy with us. Another one is about the wise taking a knife to cut the cords and free themselves from fools. Have a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, good idea to have a blog archive it will make it much easier to read your earlier posts. The just for laughs gag is hilarious you do find the best things. Thanks for the inspirational quotes also.
ReplyDeleteSo many wonderful posters and commentaries here. And that gag is too funny! How frustrating would that be. The blog archive drop down is great...I think my archives just show up on the right-hand side...
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks much for your kind comment on my blog ... it's fun to play with the different possibilities.
Tremendous day Linda. It rained early in the morning but now the sun is out though it will be cold today. I love this statement, " You don't need someone to complete you. You want someone to accept you completely." Right on. Have a wonderful Friday my friend. See ya.

Hi, I am not into suspense / thriller movie or stories, I have got a weak heart..haaa..I only watch what my daughters like to watch, recently they like to watch Fast & furious 7, Kunfu Panda 2..which I enjoy too..
ReplyDeleteThanks for the movie recommendation - will watch. Another great post, Linda! Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI'd like the movie so will keep my eyes open for it, we get a lot of foreign movies. Reitmans had me in stitches, have seen these airport dogs at work, very impressive to see in action. We have these sheep-goat crossings regularly and love to sit and watch the dogs taking care they all cross safely. You've out done yourself on sayings Linda, have a great W/E.
ReplyDeleteGreat gag video. Enjoyed all the other videos also. Wonderful quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteMerci Linda pour tous ces beaux partages :)
ReplyDeleteBisous et bon week end

I love thriller and I remember welle that moovie, a great one for sure, enjoy your Friday Linda
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen that movie.
ReplyDeleteQuite a crowd of goats!
Loved the gag as always.
ReplyDeleteOh the dog at the airport. We worked with DEA dogs in the jails from time to time to sniff out drugs.
Loved the Reitmans commercials. My favorites was the Frisbee one and the big poofy dress in the restaurant. I laughed out loud.
Awww on the goats. So cute.
Have a terrific day Linda. ☺
God helg Linda :-)
ReplyDeleteI love that new archive link, Linda! And I loved your post today, especially the gag and the information about the drug-sniffing dog. I've often watched the dogs in my life sniffing everywhere and wondered what they were experiencing and understanding! You've posted a number of impacting quotes today, but the one that connects with me the most is KS's one about not needing someone to complete you. I was so fortunate to find Terry who completely accepts me, well mostly ~ He still tries to change a few things about me ~ Such an optimist! LOL Have a lovely Friday, my Montreal friend! Hugs!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I used to raise Nigerian Dwarf goats. I have a long driveway and I'd take them to the mailbox to get the mail and my neighbor told me, "there's gonna be a wreck from some driver twisting around trying to see the cute goats!". They always stayed right with me (18 of them!) and then I'd say "home!" and they'd run back to the goat shed. The goat on the link to the video looks just like mine.
ReplyDeleteHello dearest Linda,
ReplyDeletethere are a lot of great quotes again - I think today is my favourite "People who are not happy with themselves can't possibly be happy with you." And the report about the sweet Drug Sniffing Dog war very interesting!
Lots of hugs, Traude
