Saturday Sunshine
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Stefanie Hertel - Aber Dich Gibt's nur Einmal Fur Mich
Cute Black Squirrel Eating Peanuts
Big State Pharmacy and Fountain
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Stop being a prisoner of your past. Be the architect of your future.
We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploring will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time. - T.S. Eliot
Obstacles don't have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don't turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it. - Michael Jordan
This time the gag video troupe enlisted the services of a couple of stuntmen. I would be shocked, too, if I was dining at an outdoor cafe and saw my server run after a delinquent customer and tackle him, especially if it was an elderly man using a walker. I took German in high school and college and enjoy these German language singing performances. I can't remember much of what I was taught, but I am able to translate most of the titles and some of the song lyrics. I never saw a pure black squirrel before. What a beautiful little critter he is and so cute as he eagerly nibbled on a peanut. God bless him! The Big State Pharmacy and Fountain in the suburbs of Dallas, Texas, reminds me of my own Shady Dell where hamburger and hot dog buns were toasted on the grill and kids could select from dozens of fountain concoctions including those rich, creamy milkshakes. When I was little my mother often took me with her when she went shopping in downtown York. We usually ended up at a pharmacy soda fountain and eatery like the one there in Irving. Mom always got a fresh made fountain Coke and I usually opted for a vanilla shake. I miss those happy days!
Another great JFL gag. Fun to see how the black squirrel makes short work of a peanut, too. And that Big State Pharmacy looks like it would be worth making a trip to Irving, Texas just to experience it.
What a great gag video. I do not understand the German language but the singer has a wonderful, beautiful sing voice. I have never seen a black squirrel we only have gray ones here. Great quotes as always. Have a blessed day. Madeline
Good morning Linda. Surprise, I have SNOW on the ground. It's to early for me. I can't wait for my cruise to the Caribbean with warm breezes, brilliant sunshine and blue skies instead of snow, cold breezes & freezing temps. Sounds good to me. Have a awesome Saturday my friend. See ya.
Hahaha! I love the Big State video! The original one closed and new owners reopened as Big State Grill and we love it!! I was so surprised to see this! Made me smile!!
Black squirrels always catch my eye. They look so different than expected. We have some around the Bellingham WA hospital. Where I live in Powell River there aren't any. They must be very localized. Thanks for stopping by today to comment on my book review. Lyn Hancock has written many books and she is still traveling and exploring. A very interesting lady. - Margy
