Saturday Snow Shine!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Easy and Moist Lemon Chicken Recipe
How to Make Grilled Lemon Chicken
Fastest Tortoise - Guinness World Records
Super Vets Nurse Owl back to the Wild
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Behold the texting mitt. A sign of how low we have sunk.
There comes a day when you realize turning the page is the best feeling in the world. Because you realize there's so much more to the book than the page you were stuck on. - Zayn Malik
Every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling, "This is important!" "And this is important!" "And this is important!" "You need to worry about this! And this!" And each day, it's up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, "No. This is what's important." - Iain Thomas
I admire your pretty new header which reflects your love of animals and nature. The two recipes for lemon chicken are appreciated. I will show them to Mrs. Shady. She often makes use of fresh lemons in her cooking. In fact I just picked up a bag of lemons from the store at her request. I loved watching the world's fastest tortoise. It does my heart good to know that he is loved and cared for and even has a girlfriend. I was touched by the report on the owl with the broken wing, apparently struck by a car. Bless those women for nursing it back to health and returning it to freedom in its natural habitat.
Hello Linda, I thought I visited a different blog when I saw your new blog header. It is a very nice header. I like this quote, its a good reminder for me - Every day, the world will drag you by the hand, yelling, "This is important!" "And this is important!" "And this is important!" "You need to worry about this! And this!" And each day, it's up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, "No. This is what's important." - Iain Thomas
When I see a gag like that, I always think about the poor folks who have to clean up the mess! Funny, though! I'm thinking about preparing some lemon chicken, but I'm too chicken to do it. Love the texting mitt from Canada. You guys have some of the neatest things! :)))
I love when you do those "meanwhile in Canada" I grew up in Montana just south of Alberta and I always have felt a little bit Canadian by association. XXOO
Love the Christmas ponies at the top and for whatever reason really enjoyed the flying leap kitty at the bottom of this post.... Captain Jack Sparrow's quote was also delightful. Thanks Linda :)
Love your header - I love horses and am always photographing them when I go out walking. I don't see them as much up here in the mountains as when I lived down below. Always love your choices of quotes and art! Have a great weekend Linda. Stay warm.
Gag video was very funny I will have to try the two chicken recipes, they sound and look delicious. Great quotes. Have a blessed day. Before I forget I love your new header. Madeline
Love the "horsey header." Also enjoyed the JFL gag and the critter videos. So neat they were able to restore the owl to the wild. That texting mitt may catch on...and not just in Canada.
How sweet is that darling little squirrel and its reminder to count and try to be grateful for even the smallest blessings. I think that the mindset to do so is sadly vanishing from society as a whole these days.
Wishing you a marvelously merry, blessing filled holiday season, dear Linda!
