Sunday Tranquility
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Rib Eye Steaks - The Pioneer Woman
How to Relieve Holiday Stress with Tom Gagliano
Homemade Stuffing Recipe - with Mixed Seeds and Sausage - Warren Nash
Homeward Bound - Simon and Garfunkel
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Life is short. Don't waste it on stuff that sucks.
The time is now this very moment, time to take responsibility because you own it. Take control of who you are, change your mindset and you can go far. The longer you panic, worry and wonder, the bigger the fear and the blunder. Right now you can do it, but it's up to you to set your mind to it. - Harry Bridgeman
Once we recognize what it is we are feeling, once we recognize we can feel deeply, love deeply, can feel joy, then we will demand that all parts of our lives produce that kind of joy.
Good morning darling and happy Sunday!!! I really, really love this quote: "Be a good, loving person. People will feel who you are. You can't fake good vibes!"
Love Raphael and Buddha Doodles and the gag. But, I think that might be a dangerous gag, fooling around with women's hair is a dangerous occupation under the best of circumstances! Heh, heh.
In America when tragedies happen, the politicians often mumble about mental illness but never do anything about it. I wish those in Congress would do more than talk about it.
Well, in your Sunday Tranquility, laughing while watching your first video and then, on the notes of Simon and Garfunkel, reading all the inspiring quote you've chosen, I feel my headache is relieving itself ... Thank you my dearest Linda for the relaxing moments you give us as a gift, with gratitude and love Dany
Good morning Linda. Finally the sun opened up though not big but it's enough for more me. I hope that things are going well in your home. Are you finished with your Christmas decorations? Have a wonderful Sunday my friend. See ya.
Stuff that sucks: mundane errands, housecleaning, laundry, cooking, dealing with difficult family members during the holidays, exercising, dieting... I think I'm wasting my life on a LOT of things that suck!
What a great post, as usual! Love it all! I loved the videos, the quotes and the music... from Simon and Garfunkel! Thank you for sharing so much with us! Have a great week ahead, Linda! All the best! Ana
Great videos Linda, I love Simon and Garfunkel, and this phrase, "To strengthen the muscles of your heart, the best exercise is lifting someone else's spirit whenever you can."
Love the cuddly kitties! The resentment quote and wasting time on stuff that sucks quote pinged me. I wanna train myself to think "This sucks, why am I doin' it?" and maybe stop doing things that are a waste of my time!
Happy new week, Linda! I was trying to focus on all your wonderful quotes, but I've been hijacked by Simon and Garfunkel. I always get lost in "Homeward Bound." Playing it over and over. Thank you! Tomorrow is the 33rd anniversary of Terry's and my first date, and he is my home! Have a lovely week, my Montreal friend!
Simon and Garfunkel, we adored them in our late teen years. My friends and I sung Scarborough fair(?)...(our favorite) all the time! I love the Life is short quote. I will make a copy.
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog.
