At the core of all anger is a need that is not being fulfilled.

"Sometimes we need someone to simply be there...not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared about." ... Lovely saying, L ... I often have difficulty to accept help, because I always wanna be the one that is giving ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteYes, always thankful for I am truly blessed with such great friends.
ReplyDeletethe first quote about the core of all anger is pretty true and profound ... i guess once we realise the root, we have to figure out a way to work past the anger ...
ReplyDeleteGood quotes!
ReplyDeletebut sometimes walking away will lead to the person stepping on our head again and again . Always is the conflict when is the right time to take a stand and when is the time to walk away

ReplyDeleteRaphael did it again! Great. We have a good friend who has operated a wolf sanctuary for many years in Texas. It is so wonderful to see her walk openly among the wolves.
ReplyDeleteIncredible Joy quote is so true!
ReplyDeleteI love the photo of Wolf Conservation Center. Made me smile :-)
I liked the "Meanwhile in Canada." We saw something similar on a garage one time, where someone had damaged the garage door, apparently trying to drive through it when it was closed. As someone who didn't marry until age 42, I can vouch for the wisdom of waiting. :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful thoughts to ponder, Linda. I wish you a very happy 2016!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Great quotes and thoughts for the day. I am thankful for all the new friends I have made from blogging. Happy Tuesday, enjoy your new week!

ReplyDeleteThere are some people who always seem angry and continuously look for conflict. Walk away; the battle they are fighting isn't with you, it is with themselves. I love this one. I always say, it's not my money and it's not my circus. Says the same thing only a bit different.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day Linda. ☺
that's me in a nutshell, lol.

ReplyDeleteLinda, I enjoy coming over here and seeing all the inspirational sayings for the day. I love the one, "nothing is permanent in this world." Another that I liked is "don't talk yourself out of your dreams." The girls have so many dreams of traveling to different places around the world, and they never talk themselves out of it. :) "Laughter makes the soul sparkle".....isn't that the truth.
ReplyDeleteMay the light keep shining on you in the coming year.

Yes! Glasser's Choice Theory says the same thing - we're all driven by needs, and can fulfil them in different ways. So, identify the need, and you have a starting point for working through the anger.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a lovely Christmas!
ReplyDeletelove these quotes! Some will definitely land on my bulletin board.
ReplyDeleteAnother amazing sequence of quotes and thoughts...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing so much with all of us!
