A true friend is there during stormy times. Many friends will be there when times are good. It's during stormy times you find out who has your back - and your umbrella.
Just like you shouldn't go grocery shopping when starving, you should be careful looking for love when lonely. In both cases, you can wind up with unhealthy choices.
Slow down. Slow down your speech. Slow down your breathing. Slow down your eating. Let this slower, steadier pace perfume your mind.
Your words have great power. Use them to support and inspire.
Big thank you to all those who have been unkind to me. You reminded me about the importance of kindness.
Spend time with your parents. Create closure on problems. Treat them well. Because one day when you look up from your phone, they won't be there anymore.
At your absolute best, you still won't be good enough for the wrong person. At your worst, you'll still be worth it to the right person.
Anyone can love a rose. But can you love a leaf? It's ordinary to love the beautiful. But it's beautiful to love the ordinary.
Friendships that have survived the test of time and change are the absolute best.
I'd rather have an enemy who admits that they hate me, than a friend who secretly puts me down.
One of my favourite things: good conversation with good friends.
Let go of the thoughts that weigh you down. You'll feel better.
Me? I'm a realist. Excuse me...have to go feed my unicorn. :)
The greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Because when you give your time, you are giving a portion of your life that you will never get back.
