Whimsical Wednesday and a Reminder
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I mentioned this a while back but will mention it again for those who may not have seen it. I will continue posting throughout Christmas and the New Year, but I will be posting only images and quotations. The videos will resume after the New Year. Thank you so much for your support and understanding. :) The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Little Kittens Meowing and Talking
Christmas is a Wonderful Time to Visit the Dingle Peninsula
Honesty by Billy Joel (with lyrics) (I will be honest, I am not a huge Billy Joel fan but I love this song!) :)
What we can Learn from Animals
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Tempted? Stop thinking about how you're missing out on burgers, fries and cake. Start thinking about how you're missing out on high cholesterol, diabetes and sugar spikes followed by mood and energy plummets.
You don't ever have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn't matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend or a new acquaintance. You don't have to make room for people who cause you pain or make you feel small. It's one thing if a person owns up to their behavior and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries and "continues" to treat you in a harmful way...they need to go. - Daniell Koepke
Thank you for “Honesty”. I’m a lifelong fan of Billy Joel music. Though I couldn’t catch up with your high-pace posting, I’ve been inspired by your choice of videos and quotes whenever I visit your blog. Wish you a heartwarming Christmas and a healthy, peaceful New Year. See you in 2016.
One has to watch out for aggressive stuffed dogs! :) Cute. I really enjoyed the quotes this morning; there was one that was particularly helpful.
It's unusually warm here also. 72 degrees this morning. I'm off to the golf course and it's supposed to get to 85 degrees by afternoon - just like summer!
Good morning, I just love all the animals, even the cute stuffed dog video. I would love to visit the Dingle Peninsula. Wonderful quotes. Thanks for sharing. Happy Wednesday.
This was a terrific post filled with animals. It was nice to see the gag video "A Team" back in action playing a good natured prank on dogs in the park. The puppeteer had a knack for imitating the motion and sounds of a real dog and it was fun to watch the reactions of different breeds. The Beagle puppy seemed bravest of all and approached to chew the bone with the puppet dog. I loved the kitten video with the natural sound of meowing - no music required. Who cannot love an innocent kitten? How can some people say, "It's only a cat" or "It's only a dog"? Every life is precious. Every life matters. Mrs. Shady is part Irish and we would enjoy visiting Dingle Peninsula, "the westernmost point of Ireland and arguably Europe," according to Wiki. "What we can learn from animals" is one of the greatest and most important pieces you have ever posted. As the narrator reminded us, animals and children are always present if we allow them to be. You and I can also choose to "be here now" and not drag the baggage of the past along with us moment by moment. Take a lesson from that frolicking horse. Live free and stay in the present.
I love Billy Joel, ever since his first hit, Just the way you are. I like Honesty too. It's Christmas Eve here already - so here's wishing you and all your loved ones a Happy Christmas, cheers!!!
Seen the gag video before but it is always amusing. Enjoyed the song by Billy Joel. The other videos were great. Great quotes. Have a blessed evening. Madeline
A good laugh and a long sleep cure anything. I'm embracing that because I love to sleep. Retirement is so wonderful; I can take a nap mid-day! Merry Christmas, my friend. May it be a truly grand event!

I think one of the reasons why so many people get bitter is because of the lack of sleep. I try to make sure I get 7 hours minimum
