Lessons from a Christmas tree...twinkle. Share your gifts. Bring joy to others. Be a light in the darkness. We all fall over sometimes. You were born to sparkle...even if your garland's a little droopy. It's okay to be a little tilted.
Happiness is not a race. You are not running late to be somewhere. The purpose of life is to use your time on this planet to gather insights and grow. And it takes time to treasure-hunt those insights in all those dark-hard-to-see places. It takes time to spurt growth. It takes time to become who you want to be...and know who you want to be. All the time you've been living through so far - it is all time well spent. You've been very, very busy doing life - doing insights - doing growth.
You know those snowglobes, that you shape up, and the snow's everywhere, blocking the view of the scenery inside? That blizzardy snowglobe is your mind during stress. If you want to see the world clearly, you must allow that snow to settle. You can do this by taking time to meditate or breathe.

Your mission: let go of what no longer serves you. Appreciate what you have. Get curious and excited about what's coming.
It's touch when you know you need to let go but you're holding onto hope that the impossible will happen.
Don't give up. Not yet. There is a whole life ahead of you.
Sometimes you just have to talk with a 5 year old to remind yourself what true happiness is all about.
You don't need someone to complete you. You want someone to accept you completely.
Be patient. Good things take time. Please try to trust that everything comes in the right time in the right way.
Stop. Breathe. Cry if you must. Head up. Stay strong. Fake a smile. Feel the smile. Move on.
