ReplyDeleteGROS BISOUS
Bon samedi !
Preciosos pensamientos para empezar el día, e incluso el año. Gracias. Besetes.
ReplyDeleteSame here, don't seem so old now that I'm old. :D
ReplyDeleteLove this one - "One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is thanking them for being part of your life." And I am feeling this - "It's kind of funny how being old doesn't seem so old now that I'm old."
ReplyDeleteBonjour Linda! Pour 2016 vous devriez poster plus de vos photos...j'adore celle-ci et celle avec des chevaux...C'est à Montréal ? Ici à Genève il fait gris et il pleut, parfaite journée de lecture ; -) Bon weekend!
ReplyDeleteHappy new year Linda :-)
ReplyDelete"A smile that has struggled through the tears" is a beautiful text Linda.
ReplyDeleteThat one 'kind of funny', is so true..
ReplyDeleteGood morning, no snow here but it has gotten colder. Wonderful quotes. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDelete"Nothing is more beautiful and powerful than a smile that has struggled through the tears." O. I know about that, L ... and so do U ... ya ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteGostei, um abraço e um bom ano de 2016.
ReplyDeleteHad to smile at the "old people" thought. I'm so there.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! Linda I wish the very best for you and your readers! XXOO
ReplyDeletefunny close enough one
ReplyDeleteYea for Raphael. I really liked "Meanwhile in Canada." It's especially nice when folks can make fun of themselves. We've got all these morons running for office with no sense of humor and no ability to laugh at their own and their country's foibles. I also really enjoyed the reminder that somehow I've made it through 100% of the bad days! Thanks, too, for your very nice comment on Ocala.

ReplyDeleteI got a great laugh out of Meanwhile In Canada.
ReplyDeleteThank you for being part of my life, Linda! What a beautiful collection today!
ReplyDeleteIf you are not willing to risk the usual you will have to settle for the ordinary. This is spot on. So many settle for so little.
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous day Linda. ☺
I agree with Frank Zappa's comment, but they also should be talked to like they're children, not friends.
ReplyDeleteOne of the greatest gifts you can give someone is thanking them for being part of your life... Thank you, dear Linda !
ReplyDeleteQue de douceur, c'est merveilleux! Gros bisous et bonne journée dans la joie!

ReplyDeleteOne of the greatest gifts you can give someone is thanking them for being part of your life.
Much Love to you dear Linda,

Wonderful quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteSending you a blizzard of hugs, Linda! I am back, and my computer has been blessed by the Apple geniuses! When working with my third graders, I always reminded myself that they were unique human beings, worthy of being treated with respect and never to be talked down to. Their thoughts and feelings were always genuine. Loved that quote about children not being property! Have a lovely rest-of-the-day, my friend!
ReplyDeleteHi

Linda, I noticed that you have many quotes on here by Karen Salmansohn? They are delightful. Where did you find her quotes I'm wondering? I really like "the best thing you can give someone you love" and "breathe this in." I chuckled at the lights hanging from the house also.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Linda! May it be a good one for me and you. :)

Hi Linda. I was going through some old emails and found you had commented on my blog at http://piggywhistles.blogspot.com.au. way back in January 2015.
ReplyDeleteWhen I looked up your profile I found we had a lot in common. I am 61, struggle with depression and also have osteoarthritis. I love the quotes you have put on this post. Thank you for commenting on my blog way back in January. I'm sorry I missed it. It was a bit of a turbulent time. By chance my brother is in Canada at the moment - in Montreal. I shall continue to follow your blog with great interest. Best wishes for the New Year , Lindy (Australia)
The quote about talking to children is so right! We are models for their behaviour, so if we talk to them like they're property they too will talk to others this way.
ReplyDeleteOhh, i love these quotes! I noted some of these. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year! :)

Haha .. ! Loved this one. :D
ReplyDeleteThe first thing you have to do if you want to raise nice kids is you have to talk to them like they are people instead of talking to them like they are property. - Frank Zappa
