Saturday Sunshine
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Gomer Pyle, USMC Theme
Meet Trudy the Horse
Let Me Be There - Jim Nabors
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Anyone can make you happy by doing something special. But only someone special can make you happy without doing anything extraordinary.
Stop feeding your mind thoughts about the past. Forgive those who have done you wrong. And forgive yourself too. Start seeding thoughts and actions which leader to a happier tomorrow.
Today is a good day to escape from whatever's holding you back from you. Ask yourself: are you sticking it out where you are for all the right reasons?Or are you simply staying stuck?
hahaha so true! I am still learning who is gold.. and who is gold plated. Just pass them thru the acid test, and you will know! Great post linda! :D Happy CNY!
passe un bon we , janvier fini avec a pluie ... j'espère que la semaine de carnaval sera plus ensoleillée car je garde un chien et sortir sous la pluie c'est pas sympa
You took me back to my younger years today what with that Jim Nabors material. We watched Gomer Pyle infrequently, but i recall how utterly surprised I was when I heard him sing for the first time. He was such a doofus that I thought he had no talent at all and it turns out i was the no-talent person! :)
My dearest Linda, I've been watching the video about Gotcha, the Cockatoo so many times, that I cannot remember... they're too many ! And today, how I love Trudy the horse ... you have to know that a dream of mine is to lead a farm here ... maybe one day ... And your quotes are always so marvelous and so true, my darling !
Have a blessed end of your week sending so, so much dear love to you, my delicate and sensitive soul, Dany
My grandparent's listened to Jim Nabor's so I have all of his songs in the back of my brain just waiting for the cue to remember them again. So thank you for the memory. Now I want to know about Moose!
I liked all of these- but my favorites are the one about stop feeding your mind thoughts about the past and the one about just because things are not happening now, doesn't mean they won't. Such important reminders. Thanks so much! ~Jess
I think the Amish got the better end of that deal...two Belgian draft horses in exchange for one buggy horse. But it sounds like everyone's happy, so that makes it a good deal all around.
Wow Linda...these wonderful quotes have honestly inspired me to make positive changes in my thinking! Thank you so much, Linda...you are amazing...:)) xoxoxo
