Hi Linda--so glad to see your post.
ReplyDeleteMy neighbor has donkeys--they are so cute to listen to in the mornings---I always know when Larry (their owner) is out with them--they bray and bray and bray.
Hope you feel better

ReplyDeleteoooooh! I love that last quote, Linda - I find that the flaws in others often endear them to me MORE than their good qualities. (not the harmful abusive flaws, but the weaknesses we all have at some time in our lives). Sending many more gentle hugs to you -- without expectations of anything in return! After all, you are my sun, too! hugs, de

ReplyDeleteHi! Glad you're back. Yes, action speaks louder than words. As they say, talk is cheap.
ReplyDeleteI don't trust words, I trust actions.. but kind words together with affirmative action.. now that's fantastic! :D
ReplyDeleteSo happy to see you. I was about to come over and check on you. Please know I have missed you and wish you all the very best :) Thank you for this lovely post.
ReplyDeleteSmall steps Linda. Sometimes choosing to do things even when we don't feel like it is the best we can do. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSending you the warmest wishes, Linda:) Great to hear from you. We've all missed you, but the important thing is that you're taking care of yourself. XOXO

ReplyDeleteNice to see you post Linda. xx I laughed out loud when I saw the meanwhile in Canada post. So true, isn't it? Have a wonderful rest of your week my dear. xx
ReplyDeleteSo glad to see this post! Love the donkey video - our youngest daughter raises mini-donkeys in south Florida. And the cat and printer video was right on. Our Cleo goes nuts when she hears the printer...she scrambles on top of my desk, jumps to the top of the printer and watches the paper disappear and then moves to the front of the printer to see it come out again! So funny.
ReplyDeleteThe donkeys are cute and the frozen toilet hilarious.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the smiles, Linda. Hope you are having some yourself. :D
contant de te retrouver sur ton blog Linda
ReplyDelete" I don't trust words, I trust actions" a ma préférence

ReplyDeleteYay! "Spending Time with Donkeys" was HILARIOUS! Especially the hosts' comments. "You're such a freeloader." Hahaha
ReplyDeleteCat has talent, yes he does! And that Salmansohn is quite delightful. I need to be that way with myself!
Thanks for a delightful post Linda! Hope you feel well today and happy St. Patty's day! (not that I do ANYTHING or celebrate much at all!)
<3
How wonderful to see your post, Linda!!!!! I have missed them so much. Even when I dropped out when I was going through a depression earlier this year, I thought of you and them every day. But I just couldn't make myself go on-line. I understand something of the place you are in, and I'm sending you loads of encouragement and love. The donkeys were cute, and the cat with the printer was very funny.
ReplyDeleteLife is stirring around our hotel. Nelson, the do-everything man, is up and buzzing about. Rebecca, the maid who has cleaned our room for four years, wished me a cheerful hello at 6:30 am when she came in. Terry, the ballroom dancer is back from 6 am mass, and the surfers are grabbing their surfboards and heading for the water. But little Emelio, the 26+? cockatiel, is still asleep in his cage. And I'm drinking my morning coffee. To me that first sip of coffee heavy with cream is heaven.
I hope that today goes better for you, much better. Don't force yourself to maintain a relentless schedule blogging. Post as you can! I don't know how you did it so consistently for so long! Debra (She Who Seeks with the purple gloves) reminded me that blogging is not a job.
I'm not back in full swing yet myself. I came out into the breezeway to work on my Friday post last night and just gave up. Big talkers at our small computer table where four of us were set up! Such is life!
Sending you big hugs and some Hawaiian sunshine!
Linda, thank you so much for looking for and always finding something positive and encouraging, your blog is a beautiful place I love to visit. Have a nice day!
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile in Canada. Always cracks me up. Hang in there, Kitty Cat. We love you.
