Mid-Week Solace
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:
Dan's Got a Gal in Kalamazoo - The Boyer Sisters
Rescued Canada Goose with an Injured Leg
I Love Lucy - Ethel's Birthday
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. It is not only your right to be you, it is your obligation. - Eleanor Roosevelt
That Boyer Sisters video was sooo funny. It looks like it was done inside a house 'cause there's a guy walking around in the background. Maybe that was planned? Lucy is always funny. She brought laughs and good times to millions of people the world over. Hope all goes well with you!
My sister got me a birthday card a few years ago that talks when you open it. It is from that episode of I Love Lucy. It says, "Women don't like practical gifts like toasters. They like something that's feminine and fun. You know, a gifty gift." It was the best card to give me ever because I am a true I Love Lucy fan. I own app 9 seasons and a lot of memorabilia.
As always, dear Linda, your posts are wonderful! I'm laughing over the Lucy and Ethel post ~ they were brilliant comedians, and I always enjoy them! Edward Abbey is one of my heroes! Have a lovely evening my friend! I keep trying to get on top of things! I'll get regular again! I treasure your visits! Hugs to you!
I especially like the quote about crying...it brings a much more positive perspective to being upset, doesn't it? And that truly amazing art - the cat in the moon...oh I SO love that!!
Wonderful assortment of goodies today, Linda! Beautiful Asian courtesan, and a great reminder about being responsible to be ourselves AND look within for our peace and happiness! Hugs to you! XO
