Weekend Wishes
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Neglected Bull was Chained His Entire Life, but Shows Tenderness and Affection to His Rescuer (I found this to be such a beautiful and heartwarming video!)
Gotcha the Cockatoo Running on the Floor Yelling Nonsense at Everything! (this had me laughing!) :)
I'll Be With You in Apple Blossom Time - The Boyer Sisters
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Warning: Sometimes simply thinking about something is enough to hurt you all over again.

Good morning Linda. I just loved the bull video. He seems so happy to be free of the chains. The Cockatoo was funny. Wonderful inspiring quotes. Thanks for sharing. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Hi Linda! Nice to meet you. Thank you for the fun comment you left on my blog. I see we're the same age, although you're a slight bit older. That probably means you're wiser than me. :-)
A super post, Linda. The cockatoo is too funny! But the bull segment is just plain heartwarming. Our animals have so many of the same needs and feelings as we do. And we do love our freedom. The Boyer Sisters bring me right back to my youth...that was one of my favorite songs. Our music today is mostly screaming into a mic surrounded by lots of crazy technology. Put them on stage with none of that and see how they would do.
Lots of joy here -- I am really likeing those sisters! I wonder if they travel. We have entertainers down here in snowbird country who go from RV Park to RV Park providing entertainment for the 'seniors'....people would love this group!!
The bull was so cute that my heart melted, the cockatoo.. I'm going to laugh whole night and those girls were amazing!! You chose excellent videos on your post, AGAIN! Thanks, Linda :) Have a sunny weekend!
The rescue video was as you say very heartwarming, the cockatoo is a hoot and those young girls have lovely visitors. Being a post WWII baby/toddler I grew up with those songs and still enjoy them very much. The quotes are always inspiring. Thank you for another wonderful post Linda and happy weekend to you :)
So wonderful, as always. I cried happy tears at the bull romping and playing in the hay and I sincerely appreciated the quote about problems being opportunities to do your best, that reminds me to be a little easier on myself and know that my best is good enough <3 Thanks for a wonderful post! Hope you have a lovely weekend :o) Hugs
Fabulous reminders, Linda! Thank you! We used to have cows, and they were all named according to their personalities. LOL They loved having their heads and ears scratched, and often skylarked in the cool (non-summer) mornings. We had to put a huge ring around our round hay bales because otherwise, they would trample the straw to death, and not be able to eat it LOL Thanks for the memories! hugs, de
Ok Linda! you're mean! this is the first time I got emotional over a bull!!! What a sweet video.. too sad because it makes you wonder why he was chained his entire life! of course, the second video made me laugh and the third brought me back many years...so basically this was an amazing post...
I loved all of your graphics and videos today. That one about the bull almost brought me to tears. I've never seen a bull or a cow show so much expression and love. Very touching. Thank you too for your concern about the boy from Africa. That is touching too.
Happy Saturday Linda... such lovely quotes, I really like this one: Every time you thought you couldn't keep moving forward, you did. Take a moment to appreciate your strength. When you are going through it, it is hard to see your strength xox
What a selection! I loved the video with the bull. It was just too much. I feel for the cows still there. It's apparent they are well fed and healthy, but a sad way to spend all their time. Like the name of your blog, by the way! We all need a peaceful place. Thanks for stopping by Caneyhead! Barbara, blogging at Life & Faith in Caneyhead
Fabulous post. Absolutely love love love the video of the bull being rescued! Such a heartwarming sight to see him so happy! The cockatoo sure had a lot to say. That was funny. Great quotes too. I like the human BEing one.
Good morning Linda!:) With keeping bulls on the farm I know that their temperaments vary. We have just sold one on that was so fierce that he was a difficult even dangerous animal to approach, and he had a good life out in the fields with his harem of females.:)) The bull in the vídeo was a gentle soul, and it was a moving vídeo to see him so happy enjoying freedome for the first time, and showing no sign of aggression, just gratitude and affection. It was so moving and brought tears to my eyes. Animals can be so loving, and funny too, the Cockatoo made me smile. The girls have lovely voices, and they brought back memories of the WW11 when I was growing up and heard this kind of music on the radio. Thank for the memories, the tears and the laughter Linda, and have a happy Sunday.:)
