Weekend Thoughts
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Candid Camera Classic: People and Pet MD
Monty Python - Silly Olympics
The Vintage Cats Showreel
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Wounds don't heal the way you want them to, they heal the way they need to. It takes time for wounds to fade to scars. It takes time for the process of healing to take place. Give yourself that time. Give yourself that grace. Be gentle with your wounds. Be gentle with your heart. You deserve to heal.
Compassion for animals is intimately connected with goodness of character; and it may be confidently asserted that he who is cruel to animals cannot be a good man. - Schopenhauer
Good Morning Linda!:) I'm still smiling from the silly races. The Monty Python sketches were ahead of the game when it came to quirky comedy, and are always good for a laugh.Love the Ross Lynem art work. Have a great weekend.:)
Hi Linda, one of the best lessons I have learnt in life is to master how to remain calm so that I can respond, decide and act in the best way. Looking back, it is when I am not calm, things got messed up. Have a great day!
Hello, love the Candid Camera video! The art images are so pretty. Smile, I am sprinkling some happiness dust on you. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend! Happy Memorial Day weekend!
I enjoyed the Candid Camera video. And the thought about learning to stay calm was a good one, too. I agree that no one who is cruel to animals can be considered a good person.
You had me chuckling with those videos Linda, thank you for starting my day off with a laugh. I enjoyed the singers too and those always very wise words. Have a great day :)
This has got to be one of your best posts...the Candid Camera "pet" doctor thing is soooo funny! And nobody beats Monty Python at humor...I was laughing out loud through that whole thing. And I loved the Vintage Cats...that's the music and the clothing that I grew up with. My mother was one of the nominees for Mrs. Minnesota one year and she wore an outfit just like these women wore! And all the cat pictures. You sure hit it right on the button for me.
And again, I must thank you for all of your comments. It is so nice to have someone appreciate my photos and I really appreciate that you took the time to visit those blogs and make comments. Thanks so much! And have a wonderful Friday!
I'm all for the Silly Olympics. With all this talk of cheating and drugs, maybe it's time to stop taking sport so seriously and just have a good old fashioned laugh.
Such a wonderful post, that's what I needed before than going to have dinner, my Wonderful Lady, I'm grateful to you more and more for your goodhearted nature !
Hope you had a lovely week, I'm wishing you all my best for the coming weekend, sending my dearest love and blessings to you
