Monday Melody
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Victor Borge - Piano Jokes
This is Why Your Dog Hates the Mailman
Vintage Chicago TV Ads/Chicago's Classic TV Reruns
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Here's a cheap, easy way to let someone know you care: don't look at your phone when you're with them.
Good Morning, Linda--that one about not looking at your phone while being with people is a GREAT one. Nothing makes you feel like you matter less than someone yaking on their phone when you're out with them. Have a good week
Actually I have no words to tell you how much I love this way to begin my week with, sweetest Linda, with your posts always filled with love and joy you put a smile on my face, blessed be !
Happy Monday Linda, I hope you are doing well... I like this quote: Sometimes our greatest strengths emerge from our deepest challenges ... I hold out hope that I'll be able to be strengthened from my latest challenges xox ♡
Happy Monday Linda. Loved the Victor Borge piano jokes..............hmmm, maybe I should work up a routine for myself since I am learning to play the piano and it does sound rather funny at times. I wish you a wonderful week my friend.
Love all the cute kitties and other animals. Always enjoyed Victor Borge and his piano playing (he was so talented) and his jokes and innuendoes. Now I know why dogs attack mail people. That doesn't excuse them, though. A mail person must complete his or her appointed rounds! :)
Dear Linda VICTOR BORGE certainly had me smiling. Really identify with the phone quote too. As always had such a nice visit. Thank you too for yours to mine. Have a super day. Xo xo
My husband is a retired letter carrier and he was attacked my dogs many, many times. (They don't stop delivery to the neighbourhood, just the individual house.) The little dogs are more likely to attack and the owners least likely to do something because the dog is so little and looks so not vicious!
The past is not clinging to you; you are clinging to the past. Once you are not clinging, the past simply evaporates. - Osho <-- Hah! That is so true, Linda. Letting go is hard to do, but it must happen before we can move forward! ^.^
I love the first pic because in our world today, social media is taking so much in our personal interaction with people. So putting your phone down when with someone is a must! :)
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
I love Victor Borge clips on youtube, very funny, so hilarious. If I am not mistaken, he has passed away. Great loss, such talent.

Interesting to hear why dogs don’t like the mailman and it makes perfect sense when you think about it.

ReplyDeleteEn un trabajo anterior al que actualmente tengo a quien miraba mal el perro era a los repartidores de bebidas, quizás por que pisábamos el césped.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
My dad spent the bulk of his working life up to retirement as a mailman. He had a whole lot of stories.
