Weekend Shares
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:
Candid Camera Classic: Nothing but Duck
Villa Coccoloba - Turks and Caicos Islands
My Cat from Heaven: Buzz the Fuzz
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Sometimes when bad things happen, it teaches us to view good things in a whole new light.
Oh boy my husband would have had a blast at that restaurant with only duck on the menu because he would have only spoken in his great Donald Duck voice. LOL He has had fun with that voice over the years. Enjoy your day Linda!
Oh those islands there are most beautiful. I've been to Grand Turk, but I would love to spend a couple weeks on this island and have all the beauty and quiet.
All duck? I would be leaving! Ironically, the only time I have had duck was when I was Montreal. It was so awful. I felt bad about not eating eat because I didn't want to offend the cook but it was just too much.
As you might imagine, Linda, I really like the Cat from Heaven video...that cat reminded me a lot of "grumpy cat." Our two cats were brought home from a vets office and they were scared to death. It's really taken three years to get them to the point where they feel at home and have come to be able to show their love.
The duck video is priceless. How can this be? Only duck? Why?
And I've heard on HGTV that many Canadians are heading to the Caribbean to avoid Canadian winters. Could that possibly be true? :)) Some come to Forida -even Ocala.
Hi Linda! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blogs today! You are so nice! Re the comment on the Baptist church: This is located in Reddick, a small, mostly rural community north of Ocala. We tried to photograph this church previously, but when we saw some "scruffy" looking people heading our way, we headed out. The windows down on the first level have security bars on them. The architecture is quite unusual for a Baptist church. Missionary Baptist usually indicates a black church and most Missionary Baptist churches are plain, one-story affairs. It was the different architecture that drove me to photograph this one.
Wishing you a wonderful Sunday. It's very hot here. 95 F right now. I'm planning on playing golf tomorrow so hope it cools down a bit! :)
You're right, 50 is still young - especially when you know I'm even younger (sigh: older) than you are:):) How did you find my blog? Thanks for visiting me! My absolute favorite is the one from Salmansohn - it's to our benefit to see things in a new light!
Hi, Linda! I love the sentiment about how our perspective can change! There truly always is a silver lining. Hoping you are doing well, my friend. Love, de
That Nothing But Duck Candid Camera video had me in tears I laughed so much. Thanks for sharing it as I haven't seen Candid Camera in many, many years.
