Mid-Week Selection
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Rowan Atkinson - The Conductor
Rescued Pit Bull Becomes a Therapy Dog
The Typewriter - Leroy Anderson
Blue Jay Bird Bath
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. I'm exhausted from trying to be stronger than I feel.
Yesterday's dead, tomorrow is unborn. So there's nothing to fear and nothing to mourn. For all that is past and all that has been can never return to be lived once again...and what lies ahead or the things that will be are still in God's hands, so it is not up to me. Now is all you have - embrace it. - Source Unknown
Dear beautiful you, remember that life is full of ups and downs...setbacks are normal and we all face challenges. Stay optimistic, you will learn from these times. You must continue to look for the opportunities within each and every obstacle. Find the positive in the most difficult of situations. Even when things may seem uncertain...keep going.
Love the video of pit bull the therapy dog. What a sweetie! They tend to get bad reputation which is really unfair. Meanwhile in Canada image is too funny :-)
Good day Linda, Weather here sure has cooled off overnight, brrrrr. A bit of a chill in the air. My hubby got a kick out of the Rowan Atkinson "Conductor". He is one of his favorite comedians. Thanks so much. Hope you have a beautiful day.
Greetings, Linda! Rowan A. is a riot. I'd not seen this video and enjoyed it immensely! I have a problem with pit bulls but I'm glad to see this one is doing some good work. Meanwhile in Canada is funny! Lots of good posters. I like "Flawsome" the most! And you know why...I mean, really, who has more flaws than I? Don't answer that! :))
Oh I love it all today. Especially the one about giving and serving others. If the human race would grasp this concept oh would things be much better. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
It was fun to see the evolution of the typewriter. I've used many of those in the video. I learned to type on a manual typewriter and used one in my first job. When I was preparing to apply for a new job some years later, my mom was able to purchase an old "selectric" typewriter from the law firm where she worked, so that I could practice on that, knowing that my typing test for the new job would be on an electric typewriter. And now there's probably a whole generation who have never seen an actual typewriter. I guess that means I'm vintage. :)
The conductor Rowan Atkinson was hysterical! He got me laughing, for sure. The Typewriter was also fun and brought back many memories. (I'm glad that I learned to type, and I come from typists.) And, of course, I always enjoy the animal videos you share. "Worrying is blurrying." I wish I could shut the worrying off some nights. I'm definitely blurry-eyed today from spinning around in bed last night worrying. And all that accomplishes is to make one less effective at dealing with the things one is worrying about. I never learn! Have a great day, my friend!
El pit bull es considerado un perro peligroso, pero yo creo que en ocasiones es mas peligroso el dueño que el perro, aquí un buen ejemplo. El pájaro algo egoísta al querer para el solo la fuente.
Thank you for your comment on my blog. I too have a sensitive brain. I've only recently found out and to know has made a huge difference. I can now explain to people how and why I react to certain things and do a self check before responding to situations.
Atkinson, Mr Bean. Last few days, there was this rumour going round on Facebook that he had died, commited suicide. All a hoax!!! Dunno why people are so free to do things like that.
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. ReplyDeleteThe deer looks quite comfortable. That's a Rowan Atkinson piece I've never seen before.
ReplyDeleteVery good videos especially the typewriter one. Great quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteSo kind of the rescuer to rescue the pit bull. The pretty blue jay bird doesn't want other birds disturbing his bath! So cute!
ReplyDelete"Well, that's not my dog..." Canadian humor strikes again!
ReplyDeleteAwww on the rescue dog and the blue jay. So adorable.
ReplyDeleteHave a terrific day Linda. ☺
