Weekend Wonders
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Bush Tits Flash Mob the Birdbath (I have always found watching birds bathe to be very soothing and enjoyable). :)
Belle Vue Chalets, Bhowali - Walk Through
How to Use Humor Therapy for Stress
Candid Camera Classic: One Donut
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
Stop planting flowers in people's yards who aren't going to water them.
I love to watch birds bathing. Now I am tempted to put one in my garden. I need to go look for a nice bird bath. Then I will be very busy watching the birds bathing! Have a great day!
Good morning Linda, lovely post. Love the bird bath flash mob, so cute. I keep saying I have to get a bird bath. Maybe next summer. Have a wonderful weekend.
Hello, I loved the birds in the bath, what a cute video. Another wonderful inspiring post. Finding something positive in each day, words to live by. Happy Friday! Happy 4th of July weekend!
Super videos in this post. I enjoyed them all. The birds are hilarious; the chalets most interesting with those "sun roofs; and the one donut was too funny! I also like the poster about not allowing negative renters in your head - kick 'em out! Great idea.
Oh, Linda, today's shares are so soul-touching for me. Thank you very much! I loved watching the mob birds bathing together! That does not happen around here - they are rather stingy and want things to themselves LOL so we turn on the sprinklers or watch after a thunderstorm, and they all bathe in the leaves and branches of the shrubs and trees! It is a fun sight!
I also enjoyed the words of wisdom, about "raising the rent" and remembering to think appropriately rather than remembering what other people have said, or keep saying.
Thank you, my sweet friend, for always encouraging us, and keeping us on the right path. I so appreciate everything you do, especially knowing you have your own difficult battles!
Enjoyed the videos although the Bhowali one (I looked up the location)reminds me of all those ill conceived golf resorts in desert areas that use up millions of gallons of water, chemicals and fertilizer to keep them looking green and perfect for a select few while the locals usually enjoy poverty, contamination and dry sand. Liked the bushtits in the birdbath.
I really believe humor makes us healthier and I like the message that we can relax without jokes, etc. and enjoy laughter. I love to think of funny memories and just laugh!
Hi, Linda! What a treat to enjoy my morning coffee and read your post! I've never seen birds flash mob a birdbath before. That video was darling! I had to google Bhowali to find out where it was, although I should have guessed India from the word. It looks like a lovely development, more people friendly than most. I have great hopes for the people in India in the next couple of decades. I absolutely was addicted to stress when I was working; still am, but I'm much better than I was. I'll have to check out Debbie Mandell's book. I definitely agree that laughter is a great stress reliever. So I got some good relief looking at Candid Camera. I can't wait to see my family in Nova Scotia because we laugh outrageously. I hoped that you enjoyed Canada Day yesterday. Our holiday comes Monday. Sending you a great big hug! Take care my special friend. Wishing you big laughs today!
Hi Linda! I love the video with the birds very much! I love the poster not to plant not to plant flowers in people's garden who aren't going to water them.
Fabulous!!! "Snaccident" LOL...so reminded me of my other half, who went for a drink with the farmer where we're staying...and arrived back hours later barely able to stand!!! :/ Devonshire cider is really potent stuff...!!!
Great birdbath video capture. I love it when the birds get into a bathing frenzy!I've had many snaccidents myself. Your posts always boost my spirits-thanks again!
I love that image with the quote saying "To forgive is to ...", great imagination. Thanks for another collection of positive vibes and for the humour, Linda. Laughter is a good medicine. And free! :)

Humour therapy sounds wonderful. My friend leads "laughing yoga" and they always have a good time.

ReplyDeleteDear Linda - On this sultry day, I like to see birds enjoying bathing. I’ll bear the fourth (forgiveness) and the tenth (who you open up to) in mind.
