Weekend Relaxation
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Hero - The Inspiring Amputee Cow
Phyllis Diller on The Ed Sullivan Show
How to Fold a Shirt in Under 2 Seconds
Adorable Video of Baby Rhino and Lamb Friend Playing
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Your past doesn't define you...every day is an opportunity to begin again.
Good morning Linda!:) What a lovely caring lady, people like her, rarely get acknowledged for the work they do caring for unwanted and sick animals. The little Rhinoceros was a brave little soul, and you can clearly see the bond between them. Bravo to the surgeons also for operating, and fitting those prosthetic legs, I'm full of admiration for everyone involved in saving this orphaned Rhinoceros who would not have had a chance of survival without human intervention. I saw this with tears in my eyes, but good tears. Thank you Linda, clips like this restore my faith in human nature, time and again. Have a good day!:)
I had a newborn calf like that once, friend L ... born in -30C and lost both his front huffs and ears and tail ... my husband was gonna shoot him, but me kept him warm in ma kitchen and he grew up 2 b a lively lil bull ... never named him cuz me didn't know whether he'd survive, but he did ... Love, cat.
Hello Linda, love the videos. The critters are always a favorite of mine. Wonderful inspiring words and quotes. We are blessed. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
Good day Linda, thanks for sharing so many interesting photos, and slogans. You are like a daily horoscope..........LOL, there is always something that fits someone. I wish you a wonderful weekend.
Hi Linda! Thanks for this post. I needed to hear what some of the posters had to say today! It's amazing how resilient other animals are and what great capacity they can have for caring. And I love the Krasi art. Hope you have a super day and a super weekend!
"Don't assume, ask...it defuses drama." This is great advice. All too often, we get worked up over something because of our assumptions. Have a great weekend!
Oh that gorgeous cow...really touched my heart! And "Deep in your wounds are seeds waiting to grow beautiful flowers...oh WOW...how true is that?!! Wonderful!
Hi again, Linda. I meant to tell you that we were living in Arizona when Phyllis Diller first came to national attention. We thought she was crazy...we'd never seen such antics, but she kept us in stitches!
Liked the rhino and lamb video. It'll never work with humans though. I blame God because if we are all made in his image he must have some serious underlying issues he didn't tell us about :o) A million years of evolution and we're still fighting constantly around the world.
I enjoyed your lovely post. Now I hope I can remember the trick about folding the shirts and tee-shirts; I may have to come back several times to watch it again…
I've tried that folding shirt method couple of times before but just couldn't get to it. Sigh! I guess more practice is needed. Happy weekend, my dear! xoxo
I hope you are enjoying a great Saturday morning, Linda! As always, I enjoyed your inspiring videos, quotes, and art. Folding a shirt like that is going to take some practice ~ LOL The diagrams the blogger drew certainly help one understand the process. You have revolutionized my packing, let me tell you! Now if I could just manage fitted sheets! Sending you big warm hugs! Oh, btw, I have seen loggers practicing many times in Nova Scotia and other areas. Thanks for the memories!
The Amputee cow show that there are still kind and caring people in this World. The quotes are so true especially the one about smiling and ignoring those people that criticize you.
Guess what was my favorite this week, sweet friend? Actually, I bet you CAN guess: the amputee cow! How I love stories of someone having faith and pushing forward for the betterment of another. Even if that "other" is a cow, ha ha! What a sweet story! Love and hugs!
