ReplyDeleteHope Monday has been a good day for you.

I love the naughty yellow kitty who is a tree climber, but I worry about kitties at Christmas time, because a lot of them love to eat that paper type of curling ribbon. It can get twisted in their intestines and cause all kinds of trouble. Best to put the ribbons on when the kitties are sleeping and then keep the presents locked away if they have that kind of ribbon. A better idea is to use different ribbon and keep the curling kind out of the house entirely.
ReplyDeleteFeliz Ano Novo!

Big hugs!
After your cute kitty post today, I can't wait to send you some pics of my sister's kittens. I'm back in Australia visiting at the moment and her cat has just had the cutest babies. Will send them shortly.

Linda, The sleepy kittens are a lot like toddlers. They fight the need to sleep. Our old cat will be laying in my wife's lap and his head will suddenly drop like a stone as sleep wins out!
ReplyDeleteNo turkey for us at Christmas...went for lamb instead! However, I did like the recipe for bubble and squeak with Brussel sprouts and potatoes pan fried in butter. Yum!
Those cats had a field day with the Christmas decorations and wrapping. We did have one cat climb the tree and tip it over. Our current old boy is only a hazard with bags and ribbon so we don't put presents out unless we're in the room!
Love the idea of naming a dog "5 miles"! It would be great if I could tell my doctor that I walk 5 miles every day...but it wouldn't take him long to catch on.
Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Kittens are so cute😍Happy New Year! ☺
DeleteOh, those kittens! We are "cat-sitting" for friends & have forgotten how funny they are! As usual, your blog just warms my heart.
ReplyDeleteMay God bless you abundantly in 2017, Linda!
Those kittens!!!!! Dear Lord!
ReplyDeleteI got a much needed smile out of the Night Before Catmas!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the cat videos. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful vibes here. :)
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas Linda! The sleepy little kittens are such a sweet reminder of peaceful Christmas. They are darling.
ReplyDeleteThe catmas made me laugh, hilarious and true! Our little Elbee loves to thwart any gift wrap plans or sewing on my machine, I just put my project up until he moves on, it's easier that way. ; ) Those kitties are something else. Wow.
The quotes are very good reminders as well! Very helpful!
Hope you are doing well in this post Christmas but Epiphany kind of time. : ) Blessings to you!
It appears I missed this post...very glad I came back to see it. It's full of wonderful thoughts. In fact, I like so many of them so much that I don't think I can choose a favorite. Thanks as always for sharing! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda! I love those sleeping kittens! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWe must learn who is gold and who is simply gold plated. <--- Oh, this is so beautifully worded! ^.^
