Good day Linda dear! Thanks for the smiles today. I wish you a lovely, peaceful day full of wonder and a blessed Christmas. Your wonderful posts are a blessing to so many.
Ah, dear Linda, I enjoyed these delightful videos so much. The Jars of Joy was a super idea, and the calf with his best friend was great fun to watch. Quebec looks like such a wonderful city, especially during the holidays. Thanks much for this fine post!
Finally published your kind comment on my blog, sorry it took so long. Merry Christmas, and thanks for the reminder that it is indeed the simple things that matter most.
Happy Friday Linda and I wish you a very Merry Christmas this year xox
I love this quote, it is one of my favorites: Never lose hope...the butterfly is proof that beauty can emerge from something completely falling apart. <3
Linda, That steer sure loves 'his' buddy the goat and all the other animals too. He's very playful! Can't help but feel sorry for that pit bull... He's had a sad life to date and desperately wants a bit of loving. Quebec City and Montreal are indeed beautiful at Christmas...but I'll never see it! As pretty as they are, I'm not going north in the winter. The less snow I see the happier I am. I totally agree that it's not how big the house is, it's how happy the home is! MERRY CHRISTMAS! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
That poor pit bull! It was hard to watch him and see the scars on his body and imagine how much he had suffered ~ and then to see him responding to the gentlest touch. Just heartbreaking and heartwarming at the same time. Thanks for sharing the lovely video of winter in Quebec City ~ They certainly know how to make the most of the holiday season. I loved the Power of Positivity quote; I have quite a few things I'd like to go back and experience again, just for the sheer joy of enjoying them again. Sending you lots of love and big hugs, my special friend!
Hello Linda, I fully agree with the quote that says that the older I get, the more I realize I just need the simple things in life: a comfy home, good food on the table and surrounded by the people I love. May you continue to touch the lives of people you meet with your kindness and love. Hugs! Merry Christmas!
Hi Linda, I love all these positive messages! The butterfly is my favorite, because to me it symbolizes being born again. Here is a link to a blog post I wrote about that, and within it there is a link to a video of dancing to the same theme: http://savedbygracebiblestudy.blogspot.com/2014/03/new-creature.html Merry Christmas & God bless! I had pushed preview and I think things were acting up and it never came up so I will try to remember.
The pitbull video reminded me much of our Buddy. He would make those same cute noises and behave much the same way...Very sweet creatures. I hope that pitbull made it into a sweet loving home. He deserves it. These things break my heart.
The calf..Oh how sad at first but it looks like he has a lovely adopted family. So thankful for folks who care for our fur angels. How can we not?
Your quotes are great and that springtime color print by Vavasseur is so pretty, I need to look more of his work up.
I hope you have a sweet and most Peaceful of Christmases.
May your Christmas weekend be a splendid one. You sure did put a lot to keep one busy in one spot! Thanks but I have to watch it in stages for it's a very busy time.

ReplyDeleteIt isn't the size of the gift that matters, but the size of the heart that gives it.
ReplyDeleteI wholly agree. And it doesn't matter if we don't get a gift, their presence is enough. x
