Although I do enjoy a good cup of coffee, I absolutely love tea! Black tea, herbal tea, whatever, as I drink the caffeinated ones in the morning to early afternoon and the herbal variety later in the day. For myself, it is comforting! I love to try new teas, as well, and my friends know this, so sometimes they will give me a box of tea as a gift, or create a package of several different types of tea. It's funny, because I am pretty open minded in trying new types of tea, but not so much when it comes to food. I am squeamish about certain foods and therefore am not interested in trying them. Example: squid, octopus, eel, etc. However, I do like fish: salmon, trout, shrimp, sole, cod, but I cannot eat fish if the eyes are on it. LOL! Sorry, it's just something I have always had a difficult time with. :) I realize that every person is different, and I guess this is just one of those things.
I do not have many friends. Many acquaintances, most definitely, but many friends, no. However, I look at the quality of the person, so the few friends that I have are kind, loyal and true. I am the same way in return, and enjoy the time and conversations I have with my friends. Well, that is enough for this post. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this. :)

Love will create abundance in every aspect of your life and no one can ever stop you from loving.
It's always lovely to learn more about you. I think we would hit it off if we lived near to one another. Enjoy the rest of your week Linda and your tea drinking ;-) I too drink decaf at night, especially Rooibus.
ReplyDeleteI love what you shared. Thank you and I love all the cat things...I have been having a bit of a hard time--one cat passed away and the other had to be seen for new health issues. I hope you and the two older ladies will enjoy the season, and some hot chocolate. I will think of you when I have my tea now.
ReplyDeleteDearest, precius Linda,
ReplyDeleteI so love when you share a little about yourself together with your so lovely videos and refined quotes, thank you, sweet friend, for the beautiful person you are !
Hope you're having a nice week

Hi. Picture in which the dog is a leaf in the mouth to melt hearts.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteLovely post again! I love tea too, but do not drink coffe. Nice to know more about you. Lovely Raphael Vavasseur art!
We have sooooo many things in common, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love to go out and chat with lots of folks on our "errand" days, but I really only like having 1 or 2 friends in the wings.
That's what made blogging so nice for me. I can "socialize" without the getting toooo close thing. Works perfect for me!
Have a terrific week
Like an Old Fashioned Christmas Card is special to see Linda. I do not like tea!
ReplyDeleteExcelentes filmes, gostei de ver.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e boa semana.
Andarilhar
Wonderful "happiness" reminders today, Linda! Hoping you are enjoying a delightful week! hugs, de
ReplyDeletePets are so important in my life. I love our kitties and they add great joy to the everyday! Love that 1927 "Christmas Card," but I can't think of any airline meal that was much good. :) Thanks for Raphael paintings, too, and the many wonderful posters! Carpe diem!
ReplyDeleteHello dearest Linda,
ReplyDeleteas you know I love cats – and therefore my favourits oft the day are the first two videos <3 Thank you so much for sharing. Perhaps you want to see a post with many cats – so please visit my actual post – there I was first in a Cat-Café (in the city of Vienna) whre I met a blogging friend. She gave me some crochetted mice for my two cats and for the two cats of my daughter – and you can see them playing with the mice in my blog… J

Hello Linda!:) As I write my comment, I'm listening to the soothing and beautiful Japonese music,.. something I have always appreciated. I love the quotes and artwork, and enjoyed the videos very much. I'm also a tea drinker Linda, and like strong black tea with a little milk, but also like all the fruit teas. It's best to have few, but true friends, for these are the friends who will be there for you in the bad times as well as the good. Bless you, and take care. Hugs.x
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing some more about yourself. Wonderful videos and great quotes and art. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteThe laughter yoga video made me smile so hard! A very good way to start the day :o) Thank you for another great post!
ReplyDeleteI also love tea:)
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy all your quotes. And I'm a tea drinker too! :)
ReplyDeleteLaughter is a wonderful bridge between humans! And having cats in our lives, gives us extra smiles and giggles.
ReplyDeleteI have to go along with you on few friends. I can count them on my fingers, many acquaintances, but true friend that will stand be me regardless are few but very precious.
ReplyDeleteInstead of judging people by their past, stand by them and help them repair their future. Oh such great words. Need I tell you again how much I love Raphael Vavasseur Art :-) He is amazing.
Keep well and have a great day, I will try to keep in touch while we are away but often things get on top of me while in the UK staying with FIL! Whatever I hope you have a great Christmas. Take care Diane
I always love learning more about you Linda. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteI loved the video of the kids finding the kittens. Sorry that one didn't make it, but the other three did.
Have a fabulous day my friend. ♥♥♥
Los animales suelen hacer mucho bien en especial a personas con alguna dificultar para comunicarse con los demás. El resto de los vídeos muy bonitos.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
I love both coffee and tea, too. I once received a gift of tea leaves, which I can combine several different leaves. Enjoyed mixing and trying them :-)
ReplyDeleteQuantity doesn't matter when it comes to friend..it's wonderful you have true friends!
Do your dinner companions have to avert their eyes so that you are not uncomfortable? :) I absolutely love the Laughter Yoga. It has the potential to change the world.
ReplyDeleteLinda, My wife loves tea too...me not so much as I'm more of a coffee person. Regarding seafood, we do love good calamari and my wife loves sashimi and sushi. I do agree that true friends are rare and therefore precious! FYI...I did teach what were then called (mid-1960's) trainable mentally retarded children (ages 10 - 21) for 2 years before I went back to college for another degree.
ReplyDeleteKitten rescue was a sweet story. With all of the devastating fires here in East Tennessee, we have all kinds of animal and people rescue stories going around. Yesterday there was focus on a burned kitten and a pig that survived by digging into his mud hole by his home while the fire raged around him.
Love that old film showing the multitude of steamships in the winter on the Great Lakes. I grew up in Michigan and have spent hours watching ships cruise by Detroit, the locks in Sault Ste. Marie, the Welland Canal and the St. Lawrence Seaway.
As for that British Airways dinner...Nasty looking pile of stuff. Flying has certainly changed and not for the best. Using frequent flyer miles, my wife and I once flew first class on Quantas to Australia. Our evening meal consisted of a roast rack of lamb with roasted potatoes and vegetables...with the lamb being carved by the Steward right next to our seats. It was a great meal!
Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Tout est tellement beau, merci pour ce beau billet chère Linda! Bise, bonne journée tout en douceur!
ReplyDeleteLovely videos and thoughts!
ReplyDeleteHave a nice day and thank you for visiting our blog! It is much appreciated.
I'm tempted to get out in the yard and try Laughter Yoga. Do you suppose the neighbors would call the men in the little white coats?
ReplyDeleteSalut Linda!
I go for tea as well, primarily Earl Grey or English or Irish breakfast teas. With an obscene amount of sugar.
ReplyDeleteI'm really not big on hot drinks myself. When I do have one, it's either hot chocolate or tea because I have never learned to like coffee. I might be the rare person who doesn't even particularly like the smell of coffee. Hmmm. I think I'll go make some hot chocolate right now. :)
ReplyDeleteI especially love the cats today!
ReplyDeleteThe quality of the person (friend) means so much more, Linda.
ReplyDeleteI like that Paulo Coelho's quotation. Don't say 'maybe' if you want to say 'no.'
ReplyDeleteI guess it's kind of Asian or Chinese, their idea of good manners, so instead of giving a direct answer for fear of being offensive, they give somewhat vague responses. Like when you ask if what you cook is nice of not, they will say it is all right instead of saying that it is not nice at all. You will read about this in "The Joy Luck Club" (Amy Tan) or see it in the movie.
Am I the only one who found the opening of the airplane meal painful? Put your phone down and just open it already! 😂
ReplyDeleteI enjoy coffee and tea too. I also don't eat eel and fish eye. The quote about counting our blessing is one I practice everyday.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice blog entry, that is so nice to see the young lady with the cats...Animals are truly fur angels aren't they? Poor little kittens, so precious and they turned out so pretty and well loved too.
ReplyDeleteThe 20's Christmas. that is very interesting, some things change and some things don't...Almost surreal.
I love coffee, and I enjoy some teas too especially hot tea in the winter. : ) Hot coffee or tea is cozy in the fall and winter.
I know exactly what you are saying on friends and acquaintances and the difference. My family has always been the same way.
Nice blog Linda, beautiful quotes too.
Have a cozy evening there, say hey to to Romeo! : )
Oh Linda, you dear sweet girl. You always put a smile on my face.
ReplyDeleteThank you for making me smile today, friend L ... Love, always, cat.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda, you are quite the teaholic you know but guess what? I am also a teaholic. I love chai and apple cinnamon teas to be precise. I wish you were in Kitchener...we would meet over tea and talk sometime! :)

Hauskoja videoita Naurujooka hyvä, sai minutkin nauramaan
ReplyDeleteja myös kissan pidot ihana ja kaikki muutkin kiitos Linda
Halaukset voi hyvin :)
Nice to read about you! Wish you all the best! Take care!
ReplyDeleteWe all enjoy our friends' company but very close friends are rare gems. We are so used to have fishes served with their heads and eyes so its not a problem for us here. Same as you, I do not eat eel. I do drink tea but more coffee. All our differences makes the world an interesting place. I like this quote: "Wrinkles mean you laughed, grey hair means you cared, and scars mean you lived!" Have a beautiful day, Linda!
ReplyDeleteI love your philosophy. The quality of the person is far more important.
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
I love herbal infusions, green tea and white tea. And trust me, nobody has many friends. As you say, aquaintances but not friends. Much love dear! Baci, Valeria - Coco et La vie en rose FASHION & BEAUTY
ReplyDeleteGood day Linda, I'd love me some of that Laughter Yoga.......LOL. Gives a good abdominal core workout for sure. I bet you remember laughing so hard your stomach hurt. That's how kids do it but I'm afraid as we grow into adulthood we lose some of that ability to laugh so hard it hurts. Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy hearing more about you sweet lady. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
ReplyDeletemerci pour les informations Linda
ReplyDeletela première vidéo a ma préférence
l'autisme est un grand problème
greetings
I also love tea, green is my favourite! So beautiful cats, really like that kind of art!!:)
ReplyDeleteLinda, I finally overcame my fear for doing something, and I'd like to invite you to be the first person to visit my blog: http://frommyheartde.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteIt's been made for a while, but I finally published something to it. I'd love for you to visit!
hugs,

Hi, LInda! I was going to email you back, but realized your email addy is not tied in with your blogger ID. Thank you for the fantastic comment you left, and I'm so grateful to hear about your book - I'm reading a wonderful book right now, and then will read the book you have recommended. I experienced two difficult exacerbations this Fall, and both times, I just kept on saying, "this, too, shall pass" (meaning, maybe I won't be able to walk again, and maybe the pain will be permanent, or whatever the problem is, but, I will be OK and I will come out of this OK in the end, no matter what happens). But as you say, the most difficult is when that rascal "chemical depression" hits - it's so hard to flow and keep on going because I know I'm not myself. Still, it is helpful to be open with others, and to appreciate what I CAN do, and try not to look at what I've lost. THANK YOU, LINDA, for everything! xo
DeleteCoffee often upsets my stomach so I stick with tea which I like better anyway.
ReplyDeleteI remember my Parents used to eat Tripe sometimes. It tastes like a white chewy sponge. I could never eat it. Do you know what it is? It's the stomach of a cow!
That's such a wonderful X'mas treat onboard! TGIF, dear! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I love tea too! I agree about friends. I am the same way. I have one true friend! Love your post! That laughing yoga got me laughing! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI am like you when it comes to friends, Linda. I stay close to only a few and they are the most wonderful people. I am not much for drama and loudness - just me. :)
ReplyDeleteI am more of a hot chocolate (or chocolate malt) person. It's what I drink every morning.
Thank you for sharing a little piece of yourself today.
