Walking in a Weekend Wonderland
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Dad's Deathbed Confession Unites Long Lost Siblings
Orphaned Fox Cubs Back to the Wild
Little Owl Freed from Tennis Netting
Aled Jones and Libera - Once in Royal David's City
This Little Girl Began Feeding the Crows, Now they Bring her Gifts :)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The more you feed your mind with positive thoughts, the more you can attract great things into your life. - Roy T. Bennett
The real things haven't changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong. - Laura Ingalls Wilder
Hello, Linda! I am happy to see the little owl was rescued. Wonderful inspiring quotes. I wish everyone could be happy with what they have. Enjoy your day and happy weekend ahead!
Great informative video of the crow. I wouldn't want to be on the bad side of crows. It is so true that the more we pray, the less we panic. Have a beautiful day!
Linda the videos todays were so uplifting, the deathbed confession was a little disturbing to start but how wonderful to be reunited with a family you didn't know existed.
You know, Linda, I really like your choices of sentiments and quotes - I feel so badly for a neighbor of mine. She is one of those negative, difficult-to-be-with people. Your first quote brought her to mind this morning. I feel sorry for her. She believes positive thoughts are those "things" you consciously say - not so much what bubbles up from the heart. So she does not understand why saying out loud, "I will be successful. I will make more money. I will get a boyfriend." -- how those things don't transpire. She believes she is thinking positively. Rather than being grateful she has a job, grateful she is healthy, grateful for all the good things in her life. She is dissatisfied with her life, and does not realize it is that underlying negativity which is making her undesirable when she is around others.
It's always interesting how the same comment can mean so many different things to each of us as we journey through this life - but more-so, it is sad when we can see where we fail, and are grateful for that knowledge to bloom better in the future, rather than being saddened and anchored with bitterness.
LOVING that sweet comment about hanging in there! It's so true. And when things are a little difficult for me, I say, "This, too, shall pass." I had an exacerbation/relapse on Sunday which put me back in my walker and unable to do very many things. This time, instead of fearing whether or not I'd be able to get my legs back, I immediately said, "This, too, shall pass." Meaning, "my fear and frame of mind will pass, and whatever happens, I will be OK."
I'd like to thank you, Linda, for always having timely entries on your blog, for sharing the deeper parts of yourself, for bringing joy to so many of us in cyberland, and for being the beautiful person you are.
Hi Linda all lovely posts today and no particular favourite, but of course as always I love Raphael Vavasseur Art. We are both animal lover's and anything with animals always touches my heart. Hope you have a wonderful weekend Diane
I'm pretty content with what I have, but I wouldn't mind being just a little bit financially richer so I could pay my bills more comfortably for the rest of my life. But, yeah, materially speaking I feel pretty rich.
Donna Ellis, you have a big heart! Linda, I really enjoy your posts; they help me to readjust my crazed mind to relax, and enjoy even the disappointments that come along.
your positive words and quotes lifted my spirits today. and I am so tired today!!! thank you. what a treat your blog is, keep up the positive vibe, it means a lot.
Quote about flat tire is very true! Bad attitude, and negativity, hate, etc, you really can't go anywhere with them. Better change it! Have a lovely weekend, Linda!
That first video is very heart-warming, Linda. I can't imagine what it felt like when she first heard of her brother. And the foxes...free at last, free at last...love all the poster and you always find one or two which have a special meaning for me on any given day. Merci beaucoup !
Linda, Great story about the lost/reunited siblings! When I was young, my mom and I 'discovered' that my stepfather had 6 children from a previous marriage in Canada. My brother/half-brother suddenly had a big bunch of family. As it turned out, I was treated like a blood relative as well.
In 2015, via the Internet I 'discovered' a number of classmates from my prep school in Niagara Falls NY and we actually had a 54th class reunion. In that same year, members of my Dad's family (He died in WWII) found me on the internet and brought me a trunk load of his belongings from the late 30's and 40's.
Can't miss with animal stories! Love crows... We have a family that shows up every years and they seem to love our yard. They like to roll down the hill in the grass.
The video of the fox is great :-) They are well again and released again in nature. Really nice to see. And ohhhh ..... the little owl, which has had the luck! Lovely view to see that this little owl was rescued from the net. The authority of those guys gave me goose bumps. What can singing beautiful !!! Particularly to bring the crows Debbie gifts :-) The text spells are all wonderful again to read :-) Warm regards, Helma
Hi, Linda!!! I needed a dose of happiness and I knew that I would find it here ☃ I loved that video about the crows...fantastic!!! I love these birds and I knew that they can recognize faces. I feed our crows bread each day and when I walk out to our woods the "watch crow" begins cawing that it's time to eat!!! Thank you once again for a cheerful place to visit ❄❄❄
It's amazing how quickly those siblings were reunited by means of the internet! I was so touched by the relationship between that little girl and the crows that brought her gifts. Makes me want to go out and make friends with some crows, just to see what they would bring me.
I love the quote, 'A bad attitude is like a flat tire...'. I separated my boyfriend this Monday. Our relationship was seven years. But your blog encourage me. I will change my flat tire!! Thank you, Linda<3
The videos are fascinating, I did not know about Crows! I love birds, and we will have flurries of Crows certain times of year. Maybe I will try to give them a prize? : )
The little owl, oh my. So cute and so glad to see he is okay now.
The siblings reunited, that is amazing. ...And so quickly too. Wow. That was brave of her I think. I'm glad it turned out so beautifully!
Love your sayings, they are so good. A lot to contemplate in a good way!
Your first video reminded me of my finding american relatives through the internet. I was deeply dissappointed by their attitude. It also made me question american mentality.
Your blog post it like being on an epically awesome Pinterest board... I want to save all the quotes! Great post! Thanks for sharing! <3 - http://www.domesticgeekgirl.com
Hi Linda, Great messages! I especially liked the one where the crows brought the girl who fed them gifts. Crows do have a nasty reputation, as do ravens, but God used a raven to bring Elijah food every day when he was recovering in the desert. Thanks for sharing these, and God bless, Laurie
Some of the quotes were a great inspiration to me. Thank you so much for sharing. I will save your blog and will be sure to visit as often as I can. Cheers!! :)
We really like the photos with positive sentences !!!!! We want to thank you for your beautiful comments !!!!! We were very happy to read them during the year !!!! Have a great sunday Linda!!!!! A meow of Frida, Bilbo and Sofia

ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!
Lovely small foxes :)
Happy Weekend!
Those last two kitty art pieces really give me a much needed sense of peace right now.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice weekend, Linda !
ReplyDeleteI loved the family reunion best. Forty hours and she had found her half brother. Wonderful.
ReplyDeleteI know crows are smart, but we don't mess with them at the boat. They are nasty little critters if you feed them.
Have a fabulous day and weekend Linda. ♥♥♥
