ReplyDeleteHi Linda! I watched the dishwasher ad, and I don't know why I'm so drawn to the older videos. I think I just enjoy the nostalgia of it all. I don't know what I'd do without my dishwasher, especially when the children were young. It was a real lifesaver.
ReplyDeleteI liked the image of failure not being the opposite of success. I have read other quotes like that, and I'd have to agree. So many inventors went through years of 'failure' before finding something wonderful.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, that music instrumental is beautiful, it is so relaxing to listen to! Very nice. And I loved the adorable dishwasher ad, it is so sweet, those little children at a normal birthday party with the homemade cake. It reminds me of when I was little and some of the pics of my husband back then with their suits on. Things sure were nice then, people tend to complicate things now. I noticed the pin the tail on the donkey game too, just a totally different atmosphere, much more wholesome I think. : ) Loved it! I always tried to keep things much like that for our girls when we did do a party. I enjoyed attending!

ReplyDeleteThe catio was cute and very creative. I liked the thought that anxiety can't change the outcome. I've been feeling a little anxious about some upcoming dental work. I need to remind myself of that thought. I also liked the "Be happy with nothing and you'll be happy with everything" quote. Great truth there.

Oooooo...Acker Bilk, Stranger on the shore, so romantic. I danced to that when I was younger.
ReplyDeleteLinda, The kids here in East Tennessee would like that snow dance performed for them! We've only had 2.5 inches of snow this year to date... Mostly highs in the 50's and 60's Fahrenheit for the next week at least. That Catio video shows me that some people will do more for their cat than even my wife will do for ours! Toys, a plethora of official beds, his own room at night, bottled water while we drink tap water, etc. One of the little moralities caught my attention. Anxiety channelled into action based on future probabilities can change the outcome. On the other hand, I agree that no amount of regret can change the past... Move on! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
