The retro dishwasher commercial is very interesting, I remember as a little girl seeing one of my mother's friends dishwasher that seemed like it was a pit of dishes, like the model above. I wondered how my mother's friend was every going to retrieve her dishes! lol My mom's dishwasher was the normal open door kind. I also noticed that the actress on the commercial seemed so dressy, almost as if she should have a long cigarette holder in on hand! lol ...She gives quite an air! : ) I can't imagine her with children! lol

ReplyDeleteLinda, Despite what that very early dishwasher ad said, even today with all of the technology that goes into them today, my wife still pretty much washes the dishes before they go into the dishwasher! Love that hug a sheep day... Nifty the way they all came running! As I've gotten older I have definitely bought into "Whatever you want to do, do it today." There are just too few days left to wait around and do it later! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

Hello Linda, the dishwasher commercial made me laugh, and I loved the ‘hug a sheep’ day. I had no idea sheep were so friendly, although I do remember helping my dad to feed baby lambs, and they were always very sociable.
