Weekend Fulfillment
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Newlywed Life in a Tiny Grain Silo Home
Charlie - Miniature Horse with Attitude
Aqua Therapy is Beneficial for Spine Health
Jade's Aquatic Therapy - Winslow Animal Hospital Dog and Cat
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Love is not what you say. Love is what you do.
Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit and resign yourself to the influence of the earth. - Henry David Thoreau
Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself: I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day today and I am going to be happy in it. - Groucho Marx
Hmmm...I like the idea of a tiny grain silo home to prevent cluttering. It a joy to watch the happy miniature horse bouncing around. Have a happy day, Linda!
Just incredible. :) The miniature horse is incredibly cute and the quotations are incredibly good. I'm not a senior yet, but I must copy the Seniors Texting Code! :) Have a great weekend, dearest Linda! xx
I can relate to the senior texting code, except that I never learned much of the "regular" one. Water therapy seems to be very good for animals. There's an equine healing center that uses water therapy for horses. Can't imagine living in one of those tiny homes. It's funny, that quote from Salmansohn is one of the lines in my song, "You're Too Good To Be Blue," (which made it to the #10 spot in the Country Top 50 in Europe a few years back.)
Haha! The senior texting codes were hysterical! Terry wants to downsize, by I'm not sure I could downsize to 360 square feet! No silo for me! Water therapy really works. I injured my back once, and my trainer immediately put me in the water. I exercised there until my injury healed, and it was far less painful and quicker to heal. He also had me walking backwards on a treadmill at a lower speed to loosen my back up. I do that to this day. Have a lovely weekend, Linda! Sending you lots of love.
Hi Linda, I found the silo home very interesting. Charlie the miniature horse was just perfect! So cute. Love the quote by Thoreau. I try to live by it! Have a wonderful weekend in Montreal!
The one that grabbed my attention was aqua therapy. Not only for spine, it's a great exercise option as you burn much more calories doing it in the water. And it is much more enjoyable, take my word for it. Have a nice week end, Linda!
Dear Linda - what a funny post with the miniature horse. So cute. Loved seeing the silo made into a living space. Hubby and I watch Tiny House Nation here in the USA. This type of living seems to be sweeping the country as we learn to live a more minimalist life style. Loved the quote by Henry David Thoreau...so true. Hugs!
Linda, That tiny home silo is pretty well designed...attractive too! I do like the idea that these days everyone can have their own definition of what is 'home'. At my age and stage in life, I couldn't live in a tiny home as I wouldn't want to give up all my 'stuff' and I like having my own 'cave' to retreat to.
Charlie the miniature horse is sure cute! I'll have to make sure that my wife, a horse lover, sees this video.
Over thinking...its a problem for many folks. It bogles my mind when our retired friends stress out overthinking local issues what's going on in the world. Life's too short already! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Interesante la casa silo pero la supongo un buen aislamiento de lo contrario no se soportaría ni el calor veraniego ni el frío invernal. El pequeño caballo muy simpático cuando lo acarician el lomo me recuerda mas un perro.
Really liked the grain silo house video. Beautifully constructed inside which can't have been very easy to achieve in circular rooms. Impressive and a nice couple as well living in it.
Hope you're having a great weekend Linda! I love the horse and many of the quotes really touched me. I have a journal, and all the time, I am writing things down from your blog in it! Love the senior texting! LOL! Big Hugs!
Hi Linda! It never ceases to amaze me that people can live in such small homes and not want to kill each other by the end of the day. I have seen episodes of Tiny Houses on TV, and I just dont think I could do it! (I'm happy for those who can though.) The video on spine health was interesting too. Happy Sunday! Ceil

I guess it's overthinking, but I tend to go from point A to point B to Point E, then try to backtrack to C & D...
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! As always a great collection. Overthinking my overthinking. Boy is that me!!!!
ReplyDeleteLiving on a farm in my youth, it never occurred to me that it would be possible to live in one of our silos:)
