Note to self: I don't have to take this day all at once, but rather, one step, one breath, one moment at a time. I am only one person. Things will get done when they get done.
It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all - in which case, you fail by default. - J.K. Rowling
It took me far too long to realize that lost years and relationships can not be recovered. That damage done to oneself and others cannot always be put right again. - Kay Bedfield Jamison
Thank you for sharing the interesting videos and wise quotes. I love that Tiny House in the woods with abundance of greens! That's my dream retirement house! That video of the love goat warms my heart. I should go vegetarian and not eat any more kebabs! LOL
Hello, Linda! Loved the videos. I really like the tiny houses. Cute video on the bathing bird and the goat. Thanks for your inspiring post. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
Hello Linda! I hope you are feeling better this week. : )
What an adorable animal video...That little goat is so sweet. What a great place that animal sanctuary must be.
The 60s video made me smile, it's really something that some of the inventions did not carry over well, the magnetic stove, the disposal that crushes glass...Wow! The bathing birds made me want to put a birdbath in my backyard area!
Great quotes Linda. Some of them were right on the money for me this morning.
"Healing comes in waves" reminds me that my father used to say: Ilness comes with the kilograms, and healing with the grams - slowly, gradually. The ill person has to have patience to get better.
Greetings, Linda. Thanks again for this post. I'm not a fan of tiny houses, but this tea house is rather cute. And I've come to think baby goats can be fun as our daughter raises them and loves them. Love the 1960s houses ... that's part of my era! Hope you're well, and I hope the rest of this week is wonderful for you.
Good morning, Linda. Loved the videos, especially the animal videos. The quotes about comparisons really resonated with me today. Thank you for being my ray of sunshine, Linda!
Lovely videos and inspiring quotes. The first one, 'Life's greatest riches have nothing to do with money', is one that I believe people understand more and more as they age, when they may have acquired a certain amount of wealth, and still feel empty. I hope that young people today realize that materialistic things do not have any value in one's heart and soul.
Hello beautiful!Nice videos today!Specially the american!!Ohh boy I love your speaking:)))
i hope all is well with you..and you are right..we all ar warriours in a way!Struggling daily life to be happy!I love your quotes and best wishes to you sweet woman:))
Hi Linda! Like Amelia, I hope you are feeling better! Of course, I watched the tiny house video. I love seeing them and watching them be built, but I can't help but think that I'd go nuts if I lived in one. Just not enough room to move around in...and Oregon doens't have weather that would allow me to be outside all the time. Sigh...I like the 'idea' of them! Blessings, Ceil
The quote "Comparison if the thief of Joy" is so true but it can be hard to avoid at times. Songbirds splashing was a fun video to see. Thanks for sharing, Linda.
Hi Linda, lovely videos today. I enjoyed each one of them. Always love the old Pathe short films. The goat story is adorable. I like the quote"It is never too late to start the day over" Have a good rest of the day! Robin
Thank you, Linda. You've greatly encouraged me today. I especially like the one about fighting for my health and that I am not lazy, but everything spoke meaningfully to my heart. Thank you, my friend. Hugs, de
The last poster is close to my heart. My great grandmother, always reminded me to avoid comparing myself, even competing with others. She further said to always excel in everything that I do.
These sayings are good for the soul. Thank you for sharing, Ms Linda! :)
Happy Wednesday, Linda! The story of the little goat with a baby emu for a friend was really sweet. I'm trying to imagine what it would be like to be a blind goat with neurological problems. It's fascinating to think that the emu can calm him. Aristotle had it so right! Thanks goodness I don't have to live in such a tiny house! Which reminds me that I have way too many things ~ LOL I hope that you are enjoying a lovely spring week, Linda! Sending you love and hugs!
Hi there Linda - loved the videos, can never see too many birds taking a bath, so cute. Also the little goat and friend, always love those stories. Thanks again and enjoy the last part of your week. Cheers now :D) xx
Linda, That tiny home is cute and well designed for its size. It wouldn't work for us though as we like having our own spaces and we wouldn't want to get rid of our accumulated "stuff". The baby goat and his emu buddy's sanctuary is much like our local "Gentle Barn" where a plethora of different animals have been rescued. We have a planter base that serves as a bird bath on the deck railing, another actual birdbath in the front of the house and there is a big boulder at the back with a depression that fills with rainwater. The bird love all of them! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

ReplyDeleteMorning Linda. Two lovely videos there. The lovely goats and of course the bird bath.
ReplyDeleteSongbirds Splashing, is nice Linda. I wish you a very happy Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteLoved that peak into the "Ideal" home. Funny that some of those must-have ideas didn't make it in the real world.
ReplyDeleteHave a good Wednesday, Linda
:)

Hello, Linda! Loved the videos. I really like the tiny houses. Cute video on the bathing bird and the goat. Thanks for your inspiring post. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought..."Comparison is the thief of joy." The animal video was so sweet. Who would think of an emu and a goat becoming fast friends?
ReplyDeleteWonderful post once again Linda and as always you make smile.
ReplyDeleteIt's never too late to start the day over. That is a great thought as sometimes I wish the day was over quickly. Change of plan now :-)
Take care and have a good day Diane
Love the tiny house, but I don't think I could live there very long. I'd go stir crazy. Too small.
ReplyDeleteLove the baby goat.
Really loved watching the birds splash in the water. We watch them in our fountain often.
Have a fabulous day, Linda. Big hug. ♥♥♥
I hope you had a nice Easter.
ReplyDeleteI love the saying by J.K. Rowling!

ReplyDeleteWhile taking the Dale Carnegie course, the first rule learned is, "Don't criticize, condemn or complain". I've always added, 'don't compare'.
ReplyDeleteThe goat video is sweet.
ReplyDeleteBonitos vídeos en especial el de la granja y las sentencias muy acertadas.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.

I enjoyed the goat and bird bath video. Its fun watching the birds splashing in the bird bath and then the big birds come to take over.

Thank you Linda!
ReplyDeleteThe goat and birdbath are lovley!
Indeed, "Life's greatest riches have nothing to do with money." I couldn't agree more.
ReplyDeleteI like the concept of these tiny houses. It might encourage more people to buy less - no space to put it all. ;-)
ReplyDeleteMany beautiful, cheering thoughts here.
