Weekend Well Wishes
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Oxygenics vs Conventional Shower Heads
Horse Reunited with Owner After 10 Years
Oscar, the Nursing Home Cat who can Sense Death Coming
This is Romania (relaxation music)
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. The best thing about the future is that it comes one day at a time. - Abraham Lincoln
I like Oscar, the nursing home cat. It has a heart of compassion to spend time with the dying till their final breath! What a beautiful ministry for the cat. Have a wonderful day, Linda!
Cute glasses. Yes, "Love yourself first, because that's who you'll be spending the rest of your life with." As the words of the song go, "Learning to love yourself...is the greatest love of all!"
"It's amazing how 3 minutes with the wrong person feels like an eternity, yet 3 hours with the right one, feels like only a moment." Oh my---how very very true! Have a terrific weekend, Linda. Hope you have some sunshine :)
A touching story about the reunion of the horse and its rightful owner. And the story about Oscar the cat and his ministry at the nursing home is amazing.
It's quite amazing how much our animals understand and how they attach themselves to us. If I leave the house for any length of time, my cat waits by the door and howls. When I come home she lays down and insists I pet her for 5-10 minutes!
Hi, Linda! Happy Friday! What a happy ending for the horse and owner who had been separated by someone's greed. I wish for them both many happy moments. Love the Abraham Lincoln quote - such a great reminder since we only have the minute we are presently in. And thank you for the reminder not to judge (or be judged) by the "chapter" of a life we walk into. It goes for us toward others, and it goes for us toward ourselves as well. Thanks again for the loveliness you shed abroad, Linda! xoxox
One of my favorite things in the whole world is seeing the way a cat's tail curls when it's doing it's stretches...seems like a sign of pure joy! I read Dr. Dosa's book about Oscar, and I hope there is an update coming someday. Have a nice weekend!
Dear Linda - amazing story about Oscar the nursing home cat. It is as if he is an angel in a cat's body. Loved the Romania video and music. It certainly was relaxing friend. Hope you have a great weekend. Hugs!
Hello Dear Linda ... can you believe it's Friday again.
Another good selection, and these words are so true! "It's amazing how 3 minutes with the wrong person feels like an eternity, yet 3 hours with the right one, feels like only a moment."
I do wish you well in the search for your cousins.
Hi Linda! Happy Friday my friend! Have a great weekend! I got my journal out again, to write down many of your quotes!! Big Hugs and please take care of yourself!
Happy Friday, Linda. I posted a link to your blog post about the cousins that you are trying to track down. You never know... Interesting videos today. Romania is a place I have no concept of, so I enjoyed seeing the photos. It's nice to see a happy video like hose being reunited with its owner after ten years. As for Oscar ~ I might be afraid to see that cat cuddle up by me! LOL My mother's cat and dog rarely left her side during the time she was dying from renal failure. They were a great comfort for her. Have a happy weekend ~ sending you a BIG hug!
I just shared that article about looking for your cousin on my Facebook! I wish you have contact your families! Thank you for grate video and quotes: ))
As always sadly I cannot watch your videos but the horse reunited brings back memories. I worked in stables when I first left school and we had a young racehorse called Snack in training. He was beautiful and won many races. He was then sold to South Africa and several years later I was in the area and I asked the trainer if I could see him. He said yes but to be very careful as he would bite everyone! I could not believe it.... I went to the stable, he put his ears flat and charged at me.... I kept talking and he stopped just in from of me, pricked his ears and put his head under my arm to be loved. Everyone standing by was flabbergasted!!! I guess hoses also have memories like an elephant. Have a good weekend Diane
Hello Linda! Oh my goodness, that horse video is so sweet and so very, very touching. Thank God he and his owner were reunited! Now they can have a good life together. : ) Poor little horse!
Love your quotes, that one on disturbance is really good. My sentiments exactly! : )
I'll have to come back when the cat video will load properly for me. One of the little inconveniences of living in a rural area is the internet. It looks like it will be very interesting!
Have a great day Linda! I hope you can find that cousin, I so know how that feels.
Blessings to you Linda! : ) Hopefully you will be able to post a victory on that cousin soon!
Hi Linda -- I had read about Oscar before -- I think that is kind of scary. Thanks for the inspiration .... and I hope you locate your cousins. Geneology can be a time-consuming hobby that is for sure!
Thank you for sharing these words (below). It is a timely reminder! "You may not be able to control someone's negative behavior. But you can control how long you participate in it."

ReplyDeleteCats and dogs are good carers. Cats especially. Grandma's cat was like that.
ReplyDeleteTo love our self first is the best advice one can get. Indeed, it's with our self that we'll be spending most of our life.
