Monday Moves
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: Feeding Wild Cockatoos
Cockatiel Sings to Baby
How to Make Poutine (Poutine is a Quebec creation. For those of you who have never tried it before, I suggest you try the traditional one, which is simply French fries, sprinkled with fresh cheese curds and topped with barbecue or brown sauce. There are now several variations, but to start with, this is the first and traditional one, which will give you an idea if you even like it or not. I have this about once or twice a year, as although it is delicious, I don't recommend having it very often). :)
Vintage Kitchen Decorating Ideas, Retro Kitchen Design Ideas (I love many of the kitchens in this video and I like the music, too).

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it.
So wonderful to see so many cockatoos and they are so tame and not afraid of humans. I would love to feed them too. The little one singing to the baby is so cute. Have a beautiful day, Linda!
Oh my, that Cockatiel singing to the lovely baby, what a wonder ! And the video about the Vintage Kitchen and how to decorate them, its music and its images truly put me in such high spirits, thank you Dearie !!!!!
Wishing you a most lovely new week I'm sending blessings to you, my wonderful Linda
Yes, be grateful and give thanks for every blessing in our lives, however small. It sure help make us realise and feel that our lives are, in fact, a whole lot nicer.
Hello, wow the first video is cool. I would love to see all those Cockatoos. Great quotes and wise words today. Thanks for sharing. Have a happy day and new week ahead!
Impressed by the Cockatoo video. Seen similar birds in Australia but never as many as that so close to humans. Like an exotic version of pigeons in Trafalgar Square in Central London.
Once again you have made me smile, love this post. Be strong enough to stand alone, smart enough to know when you need help, and brave enough to ask for it. So very very true and I hope that I can stand by this for the remainder of my life. Take care and have a good week Diane
Dear Linda - love those Cockatoo birds. The video of the one singing to the baby just melted my heart. You always select the best ones to share. Thanks too for taking time to stop and visit me. Have a lovely day. Hugs!
Coucou Linda J'aime tous tes posts et je craque devant l'oiseau et le bébé..... Quant-à la poutine (je ne suis pas fan). Merci pour tous tes envois, c'est super varié et très agréable. Bon début de semaine
Hi Linda, wonderful videos and quotes today. For the first time in many, many years I purchased an Easter Lily. Our kitty has been gone 2 1/2 years now. Great idea to share the list of toxins. Have a good week! Robin
Linda, The video about feeding cockatoos brought back memories from a trip we had to Australia. There was an entire tree full of cockatoos right nest to a supermarket parking lot. Like gulls or pigeons...but more endearing...they are total mooches! We also saw a rather startling flight of hundreds of flying foxes one night in Cairns. It got our attention!
Love the cockatiel singing to the baby. It seems fascinated by the infant!. Ahh...poutine! It is catching on here in the USA although we don't usually call it poutine. I've never had it with spaghetti sauce though... I like it even though it's the kind of food that isn't exactly on my diet... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
Wild cockatoos? We have wild little green parrots in south Florida...they are noisy and drive people crazy! :) Well, in south Florida you'd have to say "drive people crazier!"
Love the poster about waking up in the morning thinking it was going to be a good day. I did that the other day. Fell out of bed, broke my leg. Stumbled into the bathroom, hit my head on the sink which made me dizzy so I tried to make it back to my bed but a cat ran in front on me and I tripped and broke my arm. I crawled back to bed reached for my phone to call 911 and the battery was dead.
Hello Linda! I'm not able to watch the videos this evening, slow internet but hopefully I can return! : )
Hmm. Poutine. How do you pronounce that? lol It sounds very good!
Love the quote on not needing a vacation...Thank God I live in a peaceful place with peaceful people in our home. The quotes are so good, living with a clear conscience, sooo true!
You take care now Linda and thank you for being such a thoughtful blogging friend!
Loved the video about poutine! And so funny with the bird singing to the baby... all the quotes you shared are wonderful. Always a happy place to visit here Linda, hugs to you today!
So many inspirational quotes in this post that speak to me, Linda. I don't share your fondness for poutine. I tried it in a pub in Victoria and thought it was awful. Maybe I just haven't had the authentic French Canadian properly prepared kind though! The cockatiel singing to the baby was priceless! And I loved those vintage kitchens. Have a good one, my special Montreal friend!

Mmmmm. Not so sure about the "wild" in the cockatoos there Linda. They look a bit to tame to me. Good fun though.
