Monday Thoughts
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I would like to thank those who commented on my special blog post, Hospital Emergency Rooms. I really appreciate your feedback! The videos I have selected for this post are: Therapy Duck with Amazing Hair Helps Duck Lady
How to Keep your BBQ Burgers Juicy and Full of Flavor
These Fighting Fruit Flies are Superheroes of Brain Science - Deep Look (I found this fascinating!)
When an Elephant Herd Meet with the Tractor Driver
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. When a storm is coming, all other birds seek shelter. The eagle alone, avoids the storm by flying above it. So, in the storms of life...may your heart soar like an eagle.
When I watched the first video you posted, well, I felt moved, since that's the same love I'm living with my Giannotto: he lives outside with Bea, in the little house of their own, but he has such a special love for me, I suppose he thinks I'm a duck and kisses me with his beak on my knees and on my mouth, I didn't think it to be possible, really !
Wishing you a wonder-filled new week, I'm sending my dearest love to you, my cherished Lady
When referring to climate I use the word 'anomaly' - global anomaly, not global warming or freezing , as we have both conditions in an extreme and worrying way.
Train yourself to listen to that small voice that tells us what's important and what's not. Oh how important that is and remember the important bits. Don't worry, there are always a few puddles on every path. made e smile today another 'so true' saying. Hope you are feeling better, have a good week Diane
Ah sweet Linda those elephants just melted my heart. Are they not just the best?? Such a good quote about trusting that small voice to tell us what is important and what is not. As always my spirit is happier for having visited you this fine day. Hugs Debbie
Hi Linda...I like the bear...and yes, global warming is going to change things big time! So sorry to hear about your ER experience. I intend to comment more fully about that as we had a similar experience here recently. Would you mind sending me your email (send it to yanson30@aol.com) as I'd rather discuss this issue more privately. Thanks! And thank you so much for all your comments. Glad you like the new blog!
Hi, Linda! I finally had a chance to try out the chicken recipe you featured recently ~ the one where you rub a chicken with herbs and cook it in a crockpot without liquid. It tuned out absolutely delicious and moist. I'm going to use the leftovers and the broth to make chicken soup for tomorrow night.
I enjoyed your videos. The duck and the elephants were heart-warming, and the fruit flies were fascinating. I have several Great Courses course DVDs I'm slowly watching. They make excellent viewing. Loved that quote about not trading authenticity for approval. That's one mistake I haven't made, although following the beat of your own drum can be painful it's less painful than giving up yourself. I hope your week has gotten off to a great start, my special Montreal friend! Sending you love and hugs.
I came back to comment on this post as I realized after reading about your experience at the ER, that I hadn't done so. Do hope you are feeling much better. This is a lovely post. I have often directed family and friends here.

This message of true generosity and kindness is priceless, Linda, and perfect words of wisdom in this sometimes 'tit-for-tat' world. Thanks for sharing!
Heart warming photos of the duck and elephant videos with the people who love them. They may be animals but they also need love just like humans. Have a beautiful day!
Thank you for sharing those beautiful and/or informative videos and quotes, Linda. The duck story is wonderful and amazing and I had no idea that fruit flies play such an important part in brain science. Your had a quite awful experience in the ER. We never had to wait so many hours to get treated. I hope your eye is much better in the meanwhile.
Hello Linda I do hope you are feeling better and that your eye is on the mend. You've given us another lovely selection and some great quotes to. Thank you
