Mid-Week Gems
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: 'Aggressive' Pitbulls are Gentle with Everyone They Meet
Pet Rescue Goes Above and Beyond to Put Animals in Forever Homes
Unique Orca Encounter in the Sea of Cortez
A Stunning and Dramatic Irish Island Once Inhabited by Monks
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Either I will find a way, or I will make one. - Philip Sidney
Cara Linda, i tuoi lunghi post io li trovo molto interessanti dall'inizio alla fine puoi vedere vali video e argomenti di vero interesse. Ciao e buona giornata con un abbraccio e un sorriso:-) Tomaso
I feel the shared positivity and I feel so lovely after reading all the quotes, above. Especially this one: "Being happy doesn't mean that everything is perfect. It means you've decided to look beyond the imperfections." Also, the island is such a fantastic place to visit... Best regards and many thanks for inspiration! A lovely day to you! Alexa
Pitbulls don't have a very good reputation. I've never owned one but it seems they can become very aggressive for no reason at all. One killed a small child. But then I've heard of people who think they are the greatest. My choice or dog would be a Golden Retriever...they truly are gentle and loving and I've never heard of them attacking anyone. :)
Las razas de perro peligrosas en muchas ocasiones son los propietarios quienes las hacen mas peligrosas. Los animales que han sido abandonados una vez que ven que les proporcionas cariño son muy agradecidos.
The Irish Island video was very nice. I heard about it but never seen it until I saw this video. Very nice Linda and thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful rest of the week.
Thank you, Linda, for the fantastic lifter-uppers! Each one is a stepping stone to the other, and overlaps into a circle. I was especially surprised by the orca video! They were braver than I! It goes to show that all creatures are curious and want to be more than we assume we know about them. xx
Hello Linda! Oh the pitbull video is so adorable, they truly are big babies. Ours was my loyal companion and very, very sensitive. The only time ours was aggressive was when one of the other dogs would want to 'share' food. Ha ha! But that goes for many breeds. I think every dog no matter what breed needs to be watched closely for character issues. I will enjoy watching the rest of the videos too!
The quotes are great and very encouraging, the one about the sunglasses is a good one for me today! : ) ..Of course they are all good!
I hope you are feeling better friend, I still think about your grueling day at the hospital, oh that ought not be!
You take care of yourself, and have a good day, may we always purpose to have a good day. Blessings and a hug!
Pitbulls are lovely dogs when treated right. A lot of smaller dogs are a lot more aggressive they just don't have the bad rep :( I have a staffordshire bull terrier and he's the softest thing ever.
Awesome video of the Whale and what a lovely island. It looks like a place I would love to walk and travel. Hope you are having a good day friend. Hugs!
Loved each and every video. The one on the pitt bulls I have always thought it was the human who owned them that caused the problems, not all the time I know but I have always heard they are a very loving and loyal dog, and a great protector for children. The orca video was amazing. Always love those wise words. Thanks again Linda and have a great day :)
Hi, Linda! I was very taken by the video on Skellig Michael. I don't think I've ever heard of it before, but it is a very compelling place. I have no idea how people managed to live there, even if they were monks. Terry has been to the spot where the ferry leaves for the island. I'd have been on that ferry ~ LOL! Happy rest of the evening to you!

I have some mistrust of pit bulls, but I'm sure their temperament is largely related to the way they are socialized and treated.

ReplyDeleteOkay. I think I can use the one about good taste:))
ReplyDeleteI liked the video Unique Orca Encounter in the Sea of Cortez. It's amasing I thought orca is very dangerous animal.

I enjoyed that encounter with the killer whale Linda. I'm afraid I would trust that more than a pit bull.
ReplyDeleteThese videos were wonderful Linda!!! Thank you for sharing!!!! Hope you're well, my friend!!

Who would have thought? A pitbull. :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
The days and weeks go by so quickly - great choice of videos here.
ReplyDeleteI send my good wishes and hope the rest of your week goes well.
All the best Jan
I've heard a lot of the aggressiveness that pitbulls are known for is instilled by owners.
ReplyDeleteA perfect, beautiful post! Thank you Linda! Big Hugs!
