Amusement Parks...then and now

Sometimes it seems like only yesterday when my father would take me to the amusement park.  My favourite rides consisted mostly of ones that stayed on the ground.  LOL!  The Tilt-a-whirl is my all time favourite.
Here are some photos of amusement park rides from days gone by.

I think the rides from days gone by were tame as compared to the amusement park rides of today!  Please feel free to share your memories and thoughts of amusement parks from then and now by clicking on the "comments" link at the end of my post.
Thank you so much for visiting me today!

  3. They don't make amusement parks like they used to!! I used to love the old rickety ferris wheels and roller coasters! These pictures sure bring back a lot of memories! Have a wonderful Easter. ~karen

  4. I used to think that the travelling funfair which came to our townwas the most thrilling thing ever. These days kids seem to go more for theme rides but they still have fun on the simple ones. Thanks so much fordropping by at my blog!
