Focusing on the Important Things

It is so good to exercise and eat well, taking care of our bodies.  I think it is very important to take care of our inner selves as well.  Since many illnesses today are caused from stress, hate, anger and other various inner turmoil, in my view, if we do our best to focus on our inner selves most of the time our bodies will be healthier and we will be happier.

My post today is meant to be an encouragement to you all...and I hope it will be.

I found some things on the internet that I am sharing here that I hope you will all enjoy.

The quotation with this photo is:  "Worrying is carrying tomorrow's load with today's strength - carrying two days at once.  It is moving into tomorrow ahead of time.  Worrying doesn't empty tomorrow of its sorrow, it empties today of its strength." - Corrie Ten Boom

True love never fades.  Husband 100, wife 99.  Together 82 years.

Everybody talks about a picture of when the groom first sees the bride, but don't forget about a picture when Daddy first sees her!  :)

Embrace the moment!

Thank you all so much for visiting me here.  I really hope that my post today will be a source of encouragement to you all.  I enjoy and appreciate your responses so much.  Please click on the "comments" link at the end of my post to share your thoughts.

  3. You find the most awesome collection of pictures and illustrations! I enjoyed the 1940's street scene on your header, but I most appreciated the quote from Corrie Ten Boom about worry.

  6. Your commentary is right on the mark and your photos complement that commentary perfectly. Lois and I are hoping to make it to 100 but we're only about 3/4ths of the way so far. However, later this week, we'll celebrate 55 years of wedded bliss!
