My Stroll by the Water

I am thankfully getting plenty of opportunity now to experiment, play and practice with the zoom in feature on my Kodak Easyshare digital.  The photos I took here and am sharing in this post...the one with the church and the duck are all using the zoom in feature.  The duck was really sweet and cooperative and didn't seem to mind my taking these photos of her.  (think it is a female).  She allowed me to get close but I moved slowly and gently and talked softly to her. She was resting on the edge of a dock.

Hope you all enjoy my photos of my stroll by the water.  As you can see it was a beautiful sunny day with just a few clouds.  The weather was perfect and definitely not humid.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here.  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts.  Please click on the "comments" link at the end of my post to share.

  7. Just lovely, Linda. The zoom on your camera works very well, but you also held the camera very still - great job. What a fantastic day you must have had. I love water and ducks and I think this duck saw that you were not a threat and thereby wasn't in a hurry to rush off. Super post all around!

    1. Hi Bob, I really am not sure at all. I looked at some photos on the web for duck breeds and if I am correct this is a northern pintail.
