Local Fair

It is a rainy weekend here in Montreal!  However, this doesn't stop the travelling fairs from coming, as September and October are the months they do this.  They also do this in April and May, if I recall accurately. They go from shopping centre to shopping centre and set up in the parking lots with their fun-filled activities and rides.  As you all know by now, I am fluent in French.  It seems that my "centre" is spelled in the French way...however, I figured you all understood what I was talking about, so I let it be.  :)

I brought my camera to take some photos of this fair...yes, even though it is raining.  Hope you enjoy them. :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here.  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts...which you can share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my posts.

  1. The crocodile saying: "please let it stop raining, and I'll be alright, not eating people". A nice fair.

  2. And 'centre' is British spelling too....so I'm all right!

I loved the gallopers...I always wanted a ride on that stand when I was a child.

    1. Wow...I tried to respond earlier but couldn't. Thanks, my father's parents were born in Dartford, Kent, so I guess that is where I get some of my spelling from. Though, Canada follows the British spelling, so it's all good. :)

  3. Pity it was raining, not only for the pictures but also for these people who run their machines. It is all so expensive and if it rains they make a loss.

    Greetings,
    Filip

    1. Well, they do make a loss...but when you have outdoor things such as this, you must be prepared that there will be rain at some point.

  7. Hi everyone, thanks for your comments. On attempting to your comments individually I was unable to at this time. As well, I have noticed that flagcounter is down right now, and not just on my blog, but other blogs as well.

    1. Well....I was able to respond to you all individually now but it wasn't easy. I think flagcounter is slowing everything down...hope it gets working again soon.
