Password Elizabeth Montgomery Martin Landau 4-5-67

Not sure if any of you remember the old gameshows on television, but here is an episode of Password in 1967 with celebrities Elizabeth Montgomery and Martin Landau.  I remember, especially in the 60's and 70's, that gameshows were quite popular in those decades and it was not uncommon to see several back to back episodes during afternoon and evening.  I wish the networks would bring back some of these old shows.

So how about you?  If you like gameshows, what are your favourites?  If not, what old TV shows do you like?

Thank you so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate reading your thoughts, which you can always do by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  2. How about Jeopardy - I think that's been around almost as long as TV itself (or maybe just seems that way !).

[I'm just down the 401 from you btw] Nice header !

  5. I'm not into gameshows...though I think the old ones I remember were more about the questions than the participants.

  7. There is a cable channel called Game Show Network that runs old game shows like that. They are even doing some new shows!

    1. There is also a cable channel called Game TV, which is the one that I get. They also do some old game shows and new ones. The ones I get are The Dating Game, Pyramid with Donny Osmond, Talkabout among some. It's great!

  9. There are very few television shows I like now. I was never a fan of game shows but would watch them once in awhile.

I still watch some classic sitcoms. I don't think there's ever been a better sitcom than Frasier. Cheers was excellent as was Everybody Loves Raymond. They just don't make 'em like that anymore.
