Photos from Today's Walk!

I went out today for a walk and also went to another mall.  I have to admit, though, that this mall disappointed me in that I didn't see any Christmas decorations up.  Definitely not like the ones I saw, took photos of and shared with you all on yesterday's post.  Oh well....I have included a song from 1929, which I hope you will all enjoy.

As for myself, I just love store window displays...especially at Christmas time!  I love the warmth and beauty, and the warm colours (forest green and red) that are so known for Christmas.  This is the time of year that I love going out for walks and coming home to a warm apartment.  I enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate and relaxing in the evening.

This first photo was of a wall mural outside of a liquor store.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  3. It is interesting to see the types of stores and shopping centers in Montreal for they look very much like our stores and shopping centers! :)

Can't imagine a mall wouldn't have Christmas stuff up already. Our little mall looks like one big Christmas tree!

    Have a great day, Linda!

  8. Hi Linda, thank you for the comment. Your blog is interesting. Like visiting a foreign country and people through blogs. Music from 1929 is great. It belongs to this period of the First Republic. These melodies and especially singing songs with us Ondřej Havelka. In Czech and English. Uses period clothing and appearance. For my generation, it is very popular. Many greetings from the Czech Republic! ... Peter.
