Hi everyone! I had mentioned yesterday in my blog post that some good friends were taking a look at my camera to see if they could find out what was wrong with it. It turns out that it has totally died. On the positive side, they have very kindly loaned me their camera...it is also a Kodak EasyShare, but bigger and a step up from the one I had. These kind friends are going to try to help me get another camera at a very reasonable price...a used one.
When I got my camera two and a half years ago I had no idea how much I would enjoy taking photos and the pleasant walks that came with it.
Everytime I use something new I am a bit rusty until I get the hang of it so these photos are the very first I have taken on this camera. Hope you all enjoy them! :)
Thank you all so much for visiting me here! I really enjoy and appreciate reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.
Looks like you're getting onto it!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Gorges!
DeleteGorgeous photos Linda. Autumn is my favorite time of the year and I love seeing fall foliage.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are able to locate a new camera soon. It sounds like your friends are helping you out.
Is your header from Montreal? I remember visiting there many years ago.
Hi Carol, thanks! :) Yes, my header photo is one I took a couple of years ago...it is St. Joseph's Oratory on Mount Royal in Montreal.
DeleteI love these colours!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Fly!
DeleteRed, red, the woods are red! You did a beautiful job. So sorry to hear about your camera. I've just send 3 cameras into the shop for repair. :( Eventually, I guess they all need some work.
ReplyDeleteKeep shooting! And have a fun week!
Thanks, Lowell, you have a fun week as well.
DeleteGlad you're getting the camera problem resolved.
ReplyDeleteI love the vibrant colors in the fall foliage!
Thanks so much, Ms. Sparrow.
DeleteBeautiful autumn colors, Linda !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Thank you, Lies!
DeleteYes, I was lost without my camera when it was broken. I had to borrow one also until I was set up again. You did get some good shots from the easyShare.
ReplyDeleteHi Larry, thank you so much.
DeleteGood friends have loaned you their camera, so keep on taking excellent pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob! :)
DeleteThose leaves look really cool. It's sad when a device one gets familiar with gives up working properly. I do hope you get just what you need. I have never heard of that Kodak. My lasy Kodak was 35mm and it's no longer useful.
ReplyDeleteHello Heidrun, thanks so much for your comment.
DeleteI think you did a wonderful job with your borrowed camera. I hope you soon have one of your own to take on your walks.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, George.
DeleteLovely photos as usual Linda! That’s so kind of your friends to share their camera :)
