Unbelievable Weather in Montreal!

Hi dear friends, thanks so much for stopping by!  The video I have chosen for this post is a 1939 song by Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians...the song is called "Bluebirds in the Moonlight."  Hope you all enjoy it.  :)

The weather for the past week and some has been sunny and mild, almost unheard of here for this time in November.
I went out for a walk with my camera and took some photos.
However, I am unable to share them with you all, as it seems as though I have used up my quota for photos.  I know that I can purchase extra space but I just don't have the funds to do that, so I am trying to figure out how I can continue to  share my photos free of charge.  In the meantime, I will continue to make posts here, I just won't be sharing any photos.  :(

O.K., I have managed to share my photos from today's walk with you all.  However, it is via another website.  I created an account on Photobucket.  Here is the link to my photos.  Hope you all enjoy them.  I did manage to get the sunset today as well.  :)
Photos from Today's Walk!

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts...which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  3. I don't understand why you have to pay to upload pics to blogspot.

  5. Guy Lombardo was well-known in my childhood and we loved his big band sound. Especially on New Year's Eve.

Blogger (through Google) offers a certain amount of space to upload the photos you use on your blog. If you go over that amount, it cost $5 a year for additional space. But I went several years before I had to pay extra.

I'm thinking maybe your photos are too big. If you have a photo processing program, resize your photos to 4 X 6 or 6 X 4 (that's 1200 x 1800 px or 1800 by 1200 px. Actually you could crop them to 491 x 725 px or 725 x 491 px which is the size I post on the blog.

There is a pretty good photo processing program called Gimp. I believe it's Gimp.org but you could Google it to be sure. You can download it for free. It has almost everything Photoshop does. There'd be a bit of a learning curve but not too hard. You could crop and resize your photos with that program. Plus make lots of other adjustments in terms of contrast, color, sharpness, etc.

I went to Photobucket (we use that all the time) and saw your pics. Love that sunset! Or maybe sunrise?

    Good luck!

  8. I find it truly annoying, not being able to put photos up on blogger. It has never been that with me, I have been on the blog since 2008 and never been happening to me????????????

    1. Hmmm...thanks, Bob. Imac just commented after you here saying that it happened to him as well but now it is O.K. Perhaps it was a glitch? I hope so. :)

  9. It is annoying, but I have found a way to still share my photos with you all. It just requires you to click on the link I provide on my posts and you can see them right from there. I have made it so that the link will open in another window to facilitate things...this way you can still view my photos and comment. Hope you all don't mind. :)
