Hi dear friends! Wow! I hadn't gone out in a few days due to the extreme conditions we have had here in Montreal with virtually no sidewalks in many places. Montreal is still a mess due to that huge blizzard we had. I went out today and it was snowing again...the snow removal crews are doing their best to clear it all up, but even though they have done quite a bit, there are still areas that are difficult to walk. I found it hard walking and keeping my feet flat on the ground, there is just so much snow. It is almost as if your feet twist just to walk. I have to walk very slowly and make sure I don't fall. This is one blizzard that I will not forget, I can assure you.
Thank you all so much for visiting me here! I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

Such extreme weather around the world we are in the grips of a heat wave.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Diane b...the weather seems to be turning to extremes. Be careful when you go out.
ReplyDeleteSnow can be beautiful, but... So difficult for you, Linda... I hope spring is coming soon...
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Oh gosh, I wish you could stay inside!
ReplyDeleteI hope that you go head over tails in the snow, it can be treacherous.
ReplyDeletePlease be careful. My sister, several years younger than I, lives in Wisconsin. A few years ago, she walked out of her house (she lives on a farm), and slipped on a patch of ice. Broke her hip. It's never been the same.
ReplyDeleteBut if you should fall headfirst into a snowbank, remember to cradle the camera so it doesn't get wet! Just kidding!!
Better get some crampons.
ReplyDeleteOh my! Sounds like quite another [part of the] Planet, Linda!

be careful out in the snow
ReplyDeleteWow. Reading about your weather makes me feel humble. I shall shut up and stop complaining about London's dull grey skies.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're staying safe and warm.
ReplyDeleteI had scheduled an optometrist visit at 9:00 this morning.Knowing that I would have paperwork to fill out, I started with plenty of time to spare, I thought. My Saint Bernard, Jesse, charged out the door behind me for a game of "Catch me if you can!" on the treacherously-slick driveway. After ten minutes of his game, I went back inside to cancel my appointment. I had punched in the first two digits when Jesse came to the door to be let in. Being left outside without his designated chaser wasn't any fun for him. I rushed & made the visit on time. Discovered, as I suspected, that my problems are due to the beginnings of cataracts (I hate it when I'm right!). New lenses on the trifocals & a "Wait & see" on the cataracts. Hope your week gets off to a better start than mine, Linda!
