Hi dear friends! I hope you have all had a great Christmas and New Year! I had a really nice time at my friend Linda's place and a nice quiet time at home for New Year's Eve and New Year's day! It is still difficult getting around, as there are still no sidewalks in many areas, and today was a very cold day!
The photo I am sharing with you all is one that I took last winter. I hope you all enjoy it, as well as the video I chose. The theme is beautiful nature in winter for the video and for the photo I am adding on this post. I hope I will be able to post a photo right here this time. :) Just click on the image to enlarge it!
it's too warm here in SC still. Winter barely came last year, and I think this year might be the same.
ReplyDeleteSweet shots of winter,
ReplyDeleteAloha
I especially love your last picture!!
ReplyDeleteA nice blog, happy new year to you Linda.
ReplyDeleteCharming picture of snow covered landscape. Nice to note that you had a wonderful New Years eve & New Years day. Wish you a wonderful and splendid New Year 2013.
ReplyDeleteFunny how the snow looks so much prettier when it's yours and not mine! :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, hope your holidays were peaceful. It has gotten quite a bit colder lately - bundle up!
ReplyDeleteI am not a big fan of winter and snow, but I must admit that your photograph is beautiful. I do like that snowy landscape.
ReplyDeleteEven though the snow makes it hard to get around, it sure makes for some beautiful scenery!
ReplyDeleteI love to look at snowy scenes. And photograph them. I do not like to get out in them!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm glad to hear that Linda went to Linda's and had a good time! :-)
I saw a 'first flower' today, Linda ! Spring in Bruges ?!
ReplyDeleteBut I enjoy your snow...
Lie(f)s.
Those swans are beautiful in the video. Sure makes me glad I am not on an extremely cold lake looking for food! Today we have gotten some beautiful sunshine and tolerable temperatures!
ReplyDeleteWinter can be so beautiful. All the best for 2013. Happy New Year.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
Now - isn't these wonderful captures of Snow.
ReplyDeleteSnow is best in photo images or anywhere that I am not! The older I get the more I dislike it! Driving is a challenge & falling is a constant threat. Snow is best enjoyed on Christmas cards! I took two dogs at the shelter out on leashes together yesterday & they pulled me over the icy drive like a team hitched to a sleigh! That would have made a good picture! My Saint Bernard thinks snow is a Gift from above...he gallops like a horse & does figure eights as fast as he can. I have to laugh just watching him romp & play.
ReplyDeleteThose pics and video cooled me down a little. Thanks.
