I am Really Amazed!
Hi dear friends! I went out today but realize that I really shouldn't have. There were mountains of snow from our blizzard of two days ago. There were snow trucks everywhere trying to clear it all up. It is snowing again today! There were no sidewalks at all in many, many places, and this was forcing pedestrians to walk on the roads. Very dangerous!
Needless to say, I am glad to be home. I haven't seen a blizzard of this magnitude since I was a little girl. It will take the snow crews weeks to clean this up. It is supposed to get very cold as well. Yikes.
I chose a beautiful, calming nature video which I hope you all enjoy. As soon as it is safer more me to get out and about I will start taking photographs once again and sharing them here.
As far as how I am doing emotionally as in coping with the depression, I have been feeling better, thank God. I just began taking a Vitamin B and folic acid supplement which is supposed to really help with depression. However, according to a good pharmacist friend whom I spoke with, it takes a few weeks to see any effects. Thanks to you all for your continued prayers and thoughts on my behalf.
Thank you all so much for visiting me here. I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

That mix is good for the immune system too...but give it time.
ReplyDeleteBut, for goodness' sake...if you don't need to go out...don't!
The B vitamins are good for this. Also the lights that you can sit by, there are special ones for this, I just saw some in some catalogs. So glad you are doing better, we need summer!
Gros bisous.
Well, you better stay at home and snuggle up to a computer, at least that is still working.
ReplyDeleteVery cold outside, I hope warm in your hart and inside, dear Linda... As long as I see something from you, pictures or a text or a video...
ReplyDeleteWe have white swans in Bruges.

Stay warm and safe. Hope the vitamins work for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm impressed that you went out at all. Best wishes to you as you start this new vitamin regime. And I'm looking forward to more of your photos of Montreal in the future!
ReplyDeleteRemember, a warm blanket, hot chocolate, old movies. The fix for the weather.

You might ask your doctor to check your B-12 and D-3 levels. I found out mine were very low and it helped to take supplements.
ReplyDeleteGetting plenty of sunlight helps too.
Hi Linda, thank you for this lovely video. So soothing! Seems you have had more than your fair share of snow. Wishing you A Very Happy and Healthy New Year!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a good end of the old year, dear Linda, and a very good start in the new one !
