Hi everyone! I want to thank you all so much for your comments on my posts! I am deeply touched to know that my posts are brightening your days, it really makes my day to know this! A heartfelt thanks to you all!
For this post I chose a video entitled "The Jazz Age 1920's" which I find cute and nostalgic. Hope you all enjoy it!
As for the photo I am sharing today, it is one that I took in the summer of 2011. To be perfectly honest, when I first began taking photos of flowers, I was so embarrassed at the results that I just didn't bother sharing them with anyone. They were not clear at all and I know why. I had a tendency to move when I snapped the photos...a friend had suggested to me to get a tripod. I told her that I didn't wish to do this, as it would not help me to learn to keep a steady hand. Since the moving of my hand is not a disability, just due to being a bit nervous due to lack of experience in taking photos, I decided to continue trying until I was happy with my photos. :) With that having been said, even though I know my photos are not as nice as some other people's, I am happy to be able to take walks, enjoy nature, take the photos and share them. Here is my photo...you just need to click on it to see a larger view.
My mum used to do the Charleston.
ReplyDeleteGood for you to keep trying with your photography. The flowers are great. keep on practicing.
ReplyDeleteKeep on snapping Linda.
ReplyDeleteThe flowers are beautiful! The video raised a smile. I love cloche hats!
ReplyDeleteThey taught us in school that Jazz was the only genre of music invented in America. They're a little wrong.
ReplyDeleteYour flower photos are very nice. You seem to have developed a steady hand and take much better pictures than I ever can. I enjoyed the jazz videos. Some of the fashions reminded me of the way the ladies dress in Downton Abbey. Do you watch that series?
ReplyDeleteThis really sparks my interest in learning more about this era.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful and does not look blurry at all! Try holding your breath, that really helps.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice, Linda, when you have good photos to share, but it doesn't matter that much as long as you enjoy yourself ! You've put your hart in every photo, that is what we see... !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
