Hi everyone! Not sure if you all remember this (or perhaps some of you had not had a chance to see the post I made about this), but I have mentioned that I struggle with depression. I have been on meds for it but they haven't been working. Anyway, I did a search over a month ago on the internet and discovered that Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid are supposed to help boost the effects of the medication. I began taking these (it is altogether in one bottle...Vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid, by the company Jamieson) on December 26th and have been taking one daily since then. I have noticed a remarkable improvement in my outlook. I feel as though I am back to myself...positive, happy, enthusiastic, etc. Just wanted to update you all on this and thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts on my behalf.
The video I am sharing this time is one that I really like and hope you all enjoy.
The photo I am sharing today is one that I took in September 2011. You just need to click on the photo to view a larger size.
Neat music, pretty flowers. Glad the vitamins are helping.
ReplyDeleteThanks a lot for your comment, Gorges.
DeleteWow!!! This is great, I am so happy for you! I had known that the B's are good for mental health, but didn't know they will work in conjunction with your meds. i will have to tell my friend this, she has been on probably every drug there is.
ReplyDeleteHi Ginny, thanks for passing this on, I sure hope it helps others as well.
DeleteGreat Linda, at last, you've done it. Depression is a horrible thing.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bob.
DeleteYou can see right through those pianists at the beginning of the clip. They're like ghosts! I'm afraid I bailed when the banjo player came on. I don't do banjo unless it's bluegrass!
ReplyDeleteI have struggled with depression all of my life, but have never been medicated for it. However, someone I trust told me about the B vitamins (she gets them as a shot from her doctor) and i saw them for sale at the local drug store, and almost bought them. Next time I go there, I am getting them. Thanks for the tip, Linda.
Hi Fireblossom, I agree with the banjo and the bluegrass. Thanks for listening. I am so glad that my experience and sharing it may help others. I certainly hope it does. Thanks so much for your comment.
DeleteBegonias are such sparky little flowers. Love them. Good job on the vitamins.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Joanne.
DeleteLinda, I'm so glad you're feeling more like yourself :) Good for you that you didn't stop looking for a solution! I love the cat video you posted previously. I have one siamese cat and he is plenty loud. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteHi Rosemary, thanks so much for your comment.
DeleteGlad to that you're feeling better. Thank you for sharing Linda
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment.
DeleteIt's kinds scary how the lack of some vitamins can make you sad or sick. Thankfully, it's easy to fix!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is, Ms. Sparrow. It took about 3 weeks before I noticed an improvement, but it was really worth it.
Deletepretty flower garden
ReplyDeleteThank you, Adam.
DeleteYour vintage music is a bit older than we are, Linda... ?!

DeleteWhere do you keep on finding all these old videos?
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
I do different searches on YouTube itself. :)
DeleteWow! That's wonderful that the vitamins helped so much! I give you credit!
ReplyDeleteThe video stops suddenly but the music sounds like old Vaudeville!
Love the flora...such wonderful colors. And I'll bet you enjoy that color especially at this time of year!
Hi Lowell, thanks so much for your comment. I noticed that the video stops suddenly...and then continues. They did a series of different spots on it.
DeleteThe flowers are beautiful. Depression is hard. I have been taking meds for it. My illness & the death of my son gets to be to much. So the vitamins will help. Thanks for sharing. Blessings! Lara
