Hi everyone! The video I have chosen for this post is "Old Man Sunshine" (Leo Reisman Orchestra, 1928). Hope you all enjoy it! Those of you who regular visitors to my blog know how much I love music from the early 1900's to 1940's, especially, even though I was born in 1956. Not only do I love the music in the video, but the images, art and photos are lovely...a nice journey back in time for me, which I hope will be for you all as well!
The photo I am sharing is another one I took from my walk yesterday. You just need to click on the photo to see a larger view.
Lovely photo! I usually love winter, but we have gotten very little snow, and I find that I'm growing a bit tired of the gray and brown. So I'm kind of looking forward to spring, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog and leaving such a kind comment. I like your blog and am your newest follower!
Hi Tina, thank you so much...and a very warm welcome to you! I like your blog as well!
DeleteI hope spring comes soon
ReplyDeleteIt seems that it is, only time will tell.
DeleteA cold and chilly picture for sure, but the water doesn't look frozen!
ReplyDeleteSomehow it doesn't, Ginny. :)
DeleteHi Linda, I love all of the old songs also. I was born in 1942 --and was in a very musical family. SO--music has been my life.
ReplyDeleteGreat picture. I am one who loves winter --although we haven't had too much winter this year. It was cold today--but no snow around...
We've been in Arkansas this week enjoying some time at gorgeous Mt. Nebo. Hope you had a good week.
Hugs,
Betsy
Hi Betsy, thanks so much for your comment. I am so glad you had a great time!
DeleteI love a good blizzard and even the clean up. Not so fond of many weeks of sub-zero temps though (I lived through 15 years of those in Calgary, although chinooks were very welcome). Glad we can now enjoy the (relative) warmth of Florida these days (although only 12C right now, but going up to 30C later in the week). Enjoyed your winter photos.
ReplyDeleteHope it's full-blown spring when we get back in late April !
Have a great week, Linda.
I would think it should be full blown Spring by late April, Rick...but Canada sometimes throws in a few surprises. Enjoy your week, and thanks for your comment.

DeleteThe yard was full of robins today! Everywhere my eyes would focus there was another, & another. I love the rebirth & excitement spring brings...especially the beautiful colors to chase away the drab winter!
ReplyDeleteMuch love,
Kim
Hi Kim, thank you so much for your comment. Hugs and love to you.
DeleteGreetings, Linda! This is a song I do not remember! It was a few years before I came along but somehow I must have missed it. Love your duck shots and will look forward to your spring photos in the weeks ahead!
