Lily Pond

Hi everyone!  For this post I have chosen a beautiful, short, one minute video entitled "Lily Pond."  I found it lovely and refreshing and hope you all do as well.

I was invited to a friend's place for Easter dinner this evening.  Unfortunately, though, I am unable to go, as I can barely walk.  I woke up yesterday morning in a great deal of pain on my left ankle...and still have the pain right now.  I think it is bursitis, caused from too much friction on a joint, and some fluid accumulates on the joint which causes the pain.  Other than this, though, I am fine, thankfully.  I am O.K. with it, I am taking it in my stride and trying my best to not cause more stress on the foot by keeping it elevated as much as I can.  I would really appreciate your prayers and thoughts on my behalf.

The photo I am sharing today is one I took on a walk last week.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.  It isn't much but I found the ripplets of water and the soothing sound very nice!

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  6. Espero que pronto se recupere de su dolor de tobillo y pueda disfrutar de largos paseos primaverales para regalarnos sus fotos. Esas aguas del río son, de hecho, una muy buena base para una fotografía abstracta. Un abrazo, Miguel.

I hope that soon recovers from his ankle pain and may enjoy long walks of spring to give us their photos. Those waters of the river are, in fact, a very good basis for abstract photography. A hug, Miguel.

  19. So sorry to hear about your painful ankle. Hopefully, that has mitigated by now and you're out and about as usual. Happy Easter to you.

The video was delightful. Reminded me of a series of paintings by the old masters. Such great colors and variety of flowers. I also liked the cottage and the sunflowers, and how the video kept coming back to the lily pond!

    Best wishes to you!
