Peaceful Sanctuary

Hi everyone!  I hope that this post will provide a peaceful sanctuary for you all.  I have chosen the video "Easy to Love" (1936, Cole Porter Songs, Al Bowlly & Ray Noble Orchestra).

The photo I am sharing today is one I took at Montreal's Botanical Gardens.  Speaking of sanctuaries, this place is indeed one!  I spent a few hours there just enjoying the views and the peaceful atmosphere.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I really appreciate and enjoy reading your thoughts, which you can always share by clicking on the 'comments' link at the end of my post.

  2. That garden view is beautiful. The water is so pretty. To spread a quilt under what looks to be a black locus tree and just sit for some time as one could ponder some thoughts & find some peace. The black locus trees grow in the area here & when springs finally gets here they will be loaded with large pods of white flowers smelling so sweet. Blessings! Lara

  8. That's one of my favorite songs. I play the keyboards a little and almost always play the old standards! Does the old heart good. Your botanical gardens are a natural wonder. What an asset for your community. Love the colors in this photo - those deep blue-greens are to die for!
