A Journey Back in Time

Hi everyone!  For those of you who are regular visitors to my blog, you know how much I enjoy reminiscing about days gone by.  I find it relaxing and therapeutic, not to mention enjoyable.
The video I am sharing in this post is a short two minute video about the Montreal 1967 World's Fair.  I was 10 years old when this began and I have very fond memories of it...and when you look at the video I am sure you will see why!

The photo I am sharing today is one that I took on a walk earlier this week.  I found the art on this building interesting, it certainly caught my attention.  You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

  5. Good morning, Linda! Thanks for the video. Yes, I can understand your good feelings about that World's Fair. You were fortunate to have been able to experience that! I've never been to one, but we always went to the Minnesota State Fair!

Love the photo and I think the mural is not only attention-getting but quite attractive with nice colors.

Have a wonderful day today and a great weekend!

  7. I was at that Expo but I may have told you that. I was sixteen and my younger brother was with me, my mom, and one of her co-workers that was like an aunt to us. We had a great time.
The art work looks like it took a good bit of time and concentration. I love the colors. Yellow and blue are favorites of mine.
